yep. as soon as she said “lost” so many red flags popped up for me. i’m 18 years old and my family has been trying for 18 years to get the medical records from my birth since i nearly didn’t make it due to suspected negligence, but the hospital refuses, and “it was lost” is one of the main excuses they use.

Honestly it’s shocking because it makes you think that if they don’t even have enough Simla they not to notch their fellows…the biggest issue is that Gina was lucky to afford this kind of repair surgery but what happens when you saved say a couple of thousands to get some filler and wake up to this and not enough money to fix!?! I really hope there was a bit of jail time for this doctor, for knowingly mutilate someone like this and who knows how many others 😕

I can't imagine all the aftermath of the poison... the fact she was in so much pain to then not being able to practice medicine any longer for various reasons that were at all her doing. Going through med school, residency, and then getting a practice going are all excruciating things and that's why most doctors will never want to risk their license, or mother's becoming a stay at home mom permanently . You worked your butt off to be in the position of being a MD. My ex husband he's got a PhD in immunology and he would not risk anything for his ability to work. We had an abusive marriage and his greatest fear is him getting arrested it wasn't anything about me having bruises or ending up in the hospital.

All the years to get to be a neurologist... and because of all the pain, trauma, and her looks she had to stop practicing...I'm sorry but 17M isn't still enough for her world to completely flip upside down. It's just so bizarre that a co-worker who is also a licensed MD would have done this especially when they certainly have access to safe and reputable supplier of fillers. The first time I got botox and fillers (I didn't need it just wanted to see what the hype is) and the nurse even showed me how to make sure you're getting the good stuff not the stuff sold in Mexico. Being I had blepharoplasty I made sure that I was getting a reputable place that especially did a lot of Asians but when I was shopping around I was about to just go to anyone in Beverly Hills.. And I am glad that when I tried fillers and botox that I did go back to the original plastic surgeon as I didn't think that could end up being what this poor doctor went through.

I don't think he's gone to prison/jail but he was sued for 17M and lost so my guess is also he has some disciplinary issue on his license for malpractice, hopefully, it was revoking his license to practice again and not just a suspension. I just can't understand a doctor who has access to the correct medical supplies would do this to a colleague.. it's boggles my mind... But poor Gina having to close up her practice and inability to not be in chronic pain and her facial deformity...17M is not enough in my opinion

Ignorance, vanity .. people are so shallow and uneducated these days.. and it doesn’t take a formal education to teach yourself something.. and it’s so easy to study up on something with the internet now compared to when I was a kid and you’d have to be lucky enough to have a book around the house with the info you want or go to the library and search through dozens of books to learn about something .. these days most people have no excuse for ignorance and yet it still seems to be spreading like fire! Some amazing transformations. The scariest one was the doctor, because you trust that your injector is using safe and approved methods when they bring a needle to you. So you understand the risks of approved methods, not dangerous and illegal methods. What the injector did was criminal

My dear friend died from sepsis at 54, it was absolutely excruciating to watch, and I seriously hope she didn't feel as it looked, because I love her even now. I can't believe it is almost 3 years, I still pick up my phone to call her. I feel like people underestimate sepsis SO MUCH! It will kill u so rapidly! Her son didn't even make the 5 hour drive before she died. I bet his girl never opened her eyes in his attempt to though! I got ghosted by one of the top breast surgeons here. All I wanted was implants… my breasts aren’t saggy, I’m like a full C. He wanted to do a lift, implants, liposuction. It totalled over $16,000 in Canada. I said could you quote me on just the implants as that’s all I wanted. Never got a call or an email back after that. Some surgeons are predatory! This is our body and we can choose to do what we want with it and not be pressured into more dangerous surgeries.

And secondly there can be help if you find the right doctor. Also what to watch out for when seeking beauty enhancement, the good and the alarming. And just how life altering “a little filler” became in every aspect of her life.

I used to have large brown areolas but had to have them sized smaller when I got breast reduction. The pigment didn’t fully come back and the scars around my new shaped areolas where stitches were are now visible, my milk duds or whatever those white bumps are called that are beneath the areola are now where my nipple is so it now looks like zits that actually pop out white stuff plus I lost a lot of sensation. I then had implants put in to give my boobs a lift and fuller. One nipple is sideways. That was 12 years ago. Next month I’m getting new implants and my sideways nipple moved to correct place along with tattoo to fill in lost pigment of areolas. I hate that I lost a lot of sensation.
