Guys I feel like I have to agree with a lot of these comments regarding the Texas Wedge. Don't get me wrong there's definitely a use for it, but there are wedges in your bag for a reason. Use them. I think a good instructional video with Kevin Sprecher should be all short game related within 100 yards dealing various different types of surfaces (soft, hard, sand, rough, etc.). I think it would benefit both of your games instead of using the putter from 40+ yards every time.

I feel for you with the Florida turf. I had my first experience of it after playing on hard Michigan turf. Incredibly difficult to adjust to such a major difference.
