Totally agree with you - the 2nd half seems to be different from what I researched in the Internet ( I'm inexperienced with Manual AC controls so please let me know if my understanding is incorrect) : 1) There are people who actually recommend to TURN ON your AC in winter to reduce the humidity and fogging inside your car (also to keep your AC working regularly). 2) It is recommended in defrosting to TURN OFF the recirculation.

i can set my heater control to my head and feet and my mom's boyfriend will b**ch me out and tell me I'm going to blow up the heater because that is not supposed to be moved he says its only for air conditioning but it's not am i doing wrong by setting the vents to my head and feet or do it keep it on defrost only like he says
