I love how it starts out slowly, Fizz recounting his abuse over the last 10 years before the chorus comes in and he completely tells Mammon off without him realizing it until the very end. It's so satisfying to to see Fizz stand up to and completely cut ties with him, the animation and choreography are beautiful, and of course, Alex Brightman's vocals are amazing. It's the best song in the episode, and a perfect final performance for the greatest showman in Hell.

Gotta love the detail in the line "Too late to Apologize" there. Cause he looked at Blitz for that specific line, yes blitz shot the demon off him but I think there's more there. For Blitz, it wasn't too late for him to apologize and make amends. For Mammon it is.

It was more so the realization Fizz had about what ACTUALLY happened when the incident occurred, along with realizing what his relationship with Mammon was actually like. For years, he thought Blitz had intentionally caused the fire that crippled him, and couldn't even be bothered to check how he was doing afterwards: He'd done something that Fizz could never see himself forgiving after the window for it closed(while he was still in the hospital). Hell, Fizz tries to not accept Blitz's explanation originally, only finally deciding he could've been wrong about how that all went down when realizing he was big enough people would have 'valid' reasons for wanting Blitz to be out of his life(Fizz's ego ironically saving their friendship lol). He comes to the realization that the fracture between the two, while formed by mistakes on both ends, wasn't completely either his or Blitz's fault, and finds himself re-evaluating whether or not he could forgive his former best friend, coming to the conclusion that he can indeed forgive him: Fizz's fame never really changed how Blitz saw him, even if they had some rocky moments before reconnecting. For Mammon, the reverse was going on; Mammon was sugar-coating his abuse of Fizz, taking advantage of the fact he 'made Fizz' to justify pushing unhealthy standards onto him, and overall treating Fizz like an object(which the show does a really good job of reminding us that's what Mammon sees him as, with all the Sex Dolls). He gave 0 shits about Fizz as a person, just about how much he could Exploit him, taking advantage of Fizz's weaknesses to get the hook in deep in an attempt to ensure he'd never try and break free. It would be fair as the Boss of Greed Mammon doesn't give a shit about relationships unless HE can benefit from them, and Blitz is a Trainwreck when it comes to maintaining healthy ones, but as much as Blitz may fuck up, he ACTUALLY cares. That's why it's too late for Mammon, but not Blitz: any apology from Mammon would just be because he's trying to get his cash cow back, and would have 0 chances of ever being a genuine apology. Blitz was willing to accept the possibility Fizz would never forgive him for the Accident (hence why he briefly stops trying to explain what happened and just says 'it was my fault' in the previous episode), but still wants to apologize because he genuinely cares about Fizz and believes he deserves one.

Eh I think it was 100% improvised. Fizz is known to be an amazing entertainer and I have no doubt he didn't just make it up as he went using everything he's been wanting to say. There might have been some pre-planning for props or maybe Ozzie conjured everything Fizz needed as they went, but there was no rehersal or written script. Just a demon finally gaining the courage and support to tell off his manipulative boss once and for all in the most amazing fashion ever, while loving every minute of it.

The song, the moves, all the props, he never rehearsed any of it before he stepped onstage. By realizing neither of them are at fault, I can see both of them wanting to quickly move past the misplaced bitterness they had and quickly rekindle their friendship like they both initially intended to do after the fire.

The sheer amount of catharsis in this moment is unquantifiable. Just pure unadulterated satisfaction. I know that everybody in chat is showering the songs and the singer with (clearly deserved) praise. But can we give a standing ovation for ALL the talented people who have made this masterpiece possible? I want to imagine that Fizz asked Ozzie for help with the effects and backdrop because he’s gonna do a completely improvised song and no one on the stage hand would be able to keep up with the last minute changes. Also note that in 1:54 they subtlety change the sigil on the stage to Ozzie’s instead of Mammon’s and change back.
