I love her and she loves me, but I am the more passionate one, while she will often ask me to leave her alone... she has many issues, with her visa, but also personally... if only she knew I could solve all her problems within a week or two... This is what makes her so different from my ex... for my ex I was just a ticket to Europe, once I was no longer needed she easily discarded me... for my current gf, she is in Europe, but needs to extend her visa, I have the answers and contacts to do so but she refuses, because she does not want to burden me as my ex did... I love how at the end the moon is impossible to hold and just out of reach knowing he can’t do anything because the ball is now in blitz’s court, but as he’s falling into the terrifying depths of unknown of what blitz will decide he promises that if blitz gives him the chance he will work in the relationship and save them but he needs blitz’s permission to do so. Gosh what a good visual representation of a complicated relationship and just that terror of knowing you need to relinquish control and are left only to hope and have faith that your partner will choose you the same as you choose them all on their own.

Hazbin is more like musical theatre, Helluva is more relevant to daily life. One is more showy and polished, but Helluva touches everything. I think it's a reference to Hans Christian Anderson's quote about a mermaid's tears being lost to the sea, and therefore undistinguishable from any other water, sort of representing how Stolas wants to express how he feels to Blitzø, but can't, so he drowns how how he really feels with other emotions to hide the pain it causes him.

It's basically saying in this song that, by giving him the Crystal, Stolas is saving Blitzø from a perceived selfish obligation just to keep himself in business, and Stolas will be saved in that he won't be stuck in a relationship that will only get worse if Blitzø is truly not in love with him. PURE POETRY! I LOVE IT!

The lyric changes from the original song just make this so much more painful and emotional - we see that stolas doesnt just treat Blitzo as his "impish plaything" but as his dearest, The voicecracks full of pain are so powerful and expressive. So glad Paranoid DJ got to have this song animated. Was in tears when i saw this for the first time. I absolutely love that Stolas sees Blitzo as vulnerable and acknowledges that hes in pain and puts his walls up but hes still trying to fight to show him he loves him and he yearns for him. Cant express how gorgeous everything about this video is.
