I been telling people for years that LL Cool J version was not the original rap track or hook. This never got the airplay all over the country the way it did in New York City. And you only heard it if you listened to 98.7 Kiss fm---KOOL DJ RED ALERT or 107.5 WBLS-MR. Magic and Marley Marl on Fridays or Saturday nights.

Rap music was just starting to get a song or two on regular radio, but all the way at the end of the dial on AM there was a channel that played underground rap. I recorded this on a cassette. I literally knew every word. It was so exciting as a pre-teen to say all those sex words I would never say in a song. I just couldn't let my Mom hear me 😂😂
