As Salaam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Sayed Ammar Nakshawani.... I really appreciate this episode. I was born to Irish Catholic immigrants in Chicago, Illinois ... I was drawn to Islam 25 years ago, and it wasn't until serving in Iraq from 2003 until 2010 that it all made sense and the miracle of Islam was opened to me fully... ašhadu ʾan lā ʾilāha ʾilla -llāhu, wa-ʾašhadu ʾanna muḥammadan rasūlu -llāhi". "wa-ʾašhadu ʾanna ʿalīyan walīyu -llāh.

@lubnasajjad4 Alhamdulillah... It was an eye-opening experience on so many levels... After the American invasion of Iraq in 2003, the Shia community had a great number of religious freedoms restored as well as political and social freedoms to speech and assembly while it brought about many problems it also brought about the space for some good.. But simultaneously , you could see outside actors working hand in hand with a deposed sunni bathist in establishing Al Qudea in Iraq, which transformed into Daesh and once again sought out the destruction of the followers of Alhubayt... It was tragic to watch history repeat itself on a much smaller scale... My heart will always be with Allah ( SWT) the Prophet Muhammad and his family Peace be upon them, and I will always have a special place in my heart for the people of Iraq .... Especially the Shia and, more specifically, those who follow Grand Ayatollah Sistani .

54:09 That's a very interesting point about Syriac and Hebrew studies. I think added to that point that people forget how cities in proximity to Kufa including Sura, Nehardea, Seleucia-Ctesiphon and of course Babylon were absolutely central to development of Judeo-Christian tradition and is part of our shared heritage. Sayyid Sami AlBadri has been the most high profile hawza figure aiming to bridge this gap but nonetheless our understanding of the non-arabic speaking pre-Islamic near east is woefully poor.

What will it take for this wonderful priest to convert to Shia Islam? Does he need to see Jesus (as) praying with Imam Mahdi (as)? Why is @davidpeterson1143 a believer and not him? They are both Catholic and Allah SWT has guided one over the other. Hmm...

God is Spirit , as Father ,He is The Unmanifest, The One Who dwells in Unapproachable Light. Does Trinity fear Muslims so badly that they are afraid to study bible and Christinianity?
@dark1hand2

By "Muslims" If your referring to your average Muslim, Only a minority of Muslims are trying to understand their own faith when it comes to History, jurisprudence, Creed, as you know like most religions Islam has a lot of sects that they differ on History, jurisprudence & Creed. While majority of Muslims follow Islam based on family tradition and not on conviction. Hence there is big problem with identity crisis. The Muslim scholars are preoccupied in teaching their own faith to the Muslim population, adding another in-depth study of a different religion is out of the question. so to your question it's not that they are afraid to study bible and Christianity, it more like reviving Conviction in Islam and maintaining that for the future generation.

Is this a joke? Muslims study and know the Bible more than you Christians, and you clown know that very well Ahmed Deedat is one example! The examples are countless Go there, perhaps you will gain insight, cleanse your heart and mind, and stop clowning around
