hey the crossed out sentence in Clancy's first letter says ; "i knew those weren't the real bishops on that ship". Clancy's letters are kinda hard to read, i mean i can read/write cursive but man this was especially hard.

OMG, I just think of a theory of about the beginning of the 'Outside' music video: From Clancy's letter and the ritual photos, it is mentioned that to perform the mental control on a vessel, the vessel must be dead, What if Trash (Sea monster) is already dead, that the Bishop was controlling Trash's body to destroy the boat in the video of 'Saturday' (NOTE that the eye color of Trash in the 'Saturday' video is also yellow, same as the beginning of this video), which continues to the start of this video and other bishops killed the him for the betrayal (?). and after the bishop got stabbed and die, Tyler perform the ritual and controls the body of the dead bishop to sabotage other bishops and DEMA.

This is a great theory!! Also, Trash's eyes have been yellow since the beginning, even on the album cover of Scaled and Icy so maybe he's been dead and being controlled this whole time? Maybe by the bishops or by others as well.

Yeah I guess you are right. To me it seems only logic that the one bishop took control over Trash and wrecked the boat. This gave the others a reason to stab him which also broke the connection between him and Trash. In the end you say Tyler performs the ritual and controls the body of the dead bishop. Have you thought about Tyler portraying Clancy in this video? I didn't but I talked with the girl from this channel (sorry, I don't know your name if you read this) about this, because Clancy wrote down the feeling of taking control over someone. This is a theory I go with at the moment. But I still don't know why one bishop should sabotage the others. But even in reality we often don't know or can't understand what leads people to do something.

​@@johnnywong6907 I believe that the music video of saturday is actually the " celebration " of the Annual Assemblage of Glorified ( a ritual in dema that gathers those who commit vialism ) . Those people those were sent there to die everyone exept clancy and Josh ( I dont think that this is actually josh because we never learned that he returned to dema and he didnt wrote the songs with clancy )Also clancy mentioned that the bishops in saturday were fake. Trash was dead and then posesed by the bishops . They used his dead body to DESTROY the boat .(destroy is written in Trash's wing ) he saved them because they weren t useless to the bishops yet (For example they wanted them to play in concerts ect.) As we know vialism glorifies death especially suicide . Maybe the bishops created this religion so people killed themselves /die and then they could use their bodies ( for what I have no idea )

Up until now I had no idea that SAI was written from Clancy, it makes so much more sense now. But seeing as there are so many things relating back to and from previous albums, it's almost like they have known each other. Or at least Clancy knows Tyler. It would make sense that Clancy would follow Tyler to an extent after seeing him in Trench. I think that's maybe why we hear Migraine in The Outside music video. He listens to Tyler's music and is inspired to write Redecorate and Never Take It in spite of being watched by the bishops and maybe that's why it plays after the sirens go off at the end of the livestream and maybe that's why The Outside music video wasn't released until after the livestream as well. Just speculation but it may lead somewhere, or maybe I'm just extremely late as always lol

Also hear me out, the self titled album is written by Clancy as well but as letters before he was chosen by the bishops, hence "prehistoric rhymes". Maybe, maybe not, again just speculation

It all started with level of concern, when they announced Clancy was dead, in the level of concern song they mentioned Julie and michael (and here are two things about it, in one interview tyler said those are just random names he though, and in another interview he said they are part of the production or something like that, then again Mr Joseph sometimes don’t say the truth on interviews just so he can keep us theorizing) anyways my theory is that michael and Julie are the kids from Nico and the Niners same kids we see in the outside at the end and they’re connected to Tyler because their bishop is Nico as well and so Tyler always leaves clues for them to join the banditos and escape, also I think Tyler and Clancy aren’t the same person I think of them as Voldemort and Tom riddle is like an alter ego I guess, what I don’t understand is how did Josh got those powers in were he flashed and turned Tyler’s hair pink (which is keons color in the buttons of the control room)

One minor little thing that I think might be in need of consideration. JLAndersonmusic said in one of his latest videos that we never actually got concrete confirmation that Nico is Tyler's Bishop and we all kind of just assumed it. That's his words not mine and I am paraphrasing. Though both points do have merit on both sides of the scale the question is is which one will isolate itself too far and tip.

I don't think that Clancy and Tyler are exactly the same. Clancy describes that he was wandering Trench alone before Keons came and got him. Tyler was brought back to Dema after Levitate which doesn't line up with Clancys letters

Why am I the only one that can wield it? Was this the reason that I survived?" Even Clancy doesn't know why he's the only one, but I actually have a new video coming soon talking about why I think Clancy is the only one with this ability. Should be up Friday |-/

Ummm okay, Never Take It has new meaning now (to me at least)! “They’re trying hard to weaponize you and I.” Even No Chances means something different to me, too. “We get bodies every day. We want you home in one piece now.” I’m a very, very new twenty one pilots fan, so maybe everyone else already knew this, but when I would listen to No Chances, I always thought it was Banditos saying that last line. Now I think it’s the bishops, though.

Yeah, sure! "This means that Clancy performed the twenty one pilots livestream experience which fits into my theory that Tyler has been portraying Clancy since the beginning of Scaled and Icy." Basically what my theory is, is that Tyler is playing the role of Clancy like an actor playing a role in a movie. Hopefully that makes sense :)

Thanks, I'm thinking about your theory like this: Clancy created and performed the show (live stream experience). To visualise it for us people the actor of Clancy during the show and in the following music videos is Tyler Joseph. We see him portraying Clancy. We see Tyler but he should be Clancy. So during Trench era we see Tyler Joseph as himself in the videos because Clancy was able to watch him which we know from former letters. Although we see Tyler in this era as well he portrays a different person - Clancy. Did I get your theory right? This would explain the confusion about Clancy not being Tyler during Trench, but Clancy seeming to be Tyler from now on because of describing everything Tyler experiences during SAI. Now I'll add my own thoughts to this: Trench was created by Tyler (and Josh) but SAI has been made by Clancy. The music videos from this era are all about Clancy, an individual currently on the run from the bishops because of the help by one of them (Keons as I think). Tyler is not Clancy but Clancy is Tyler. What I think is that Clancy is the individual portraying a part of Tylers mind which is why we are currently on voldsøy, the island of violence. Clancy achieved to take control over one of the bishops because "they made him a weapon". From the latest post on the dmaorg website we know that the feeling Clancy had while taking over control of the bishop was familiar (i don't remember the original words). They took control over Clancy several times before, which means that the dark thoughts took control over Tyler. We know this from his music. But where we are now it's the other way round. I'm pretty sure I made some major contradictions which I don't see right know but could it be that Clancy finally found a way to escape/ fight the demons? Could it be that Tylers family, his wife and children finally made him overcome his dark thoughts? This is something I'd like to believe. Thank you for your reply and sharing your thoughts with us. It means a lot to me that we dont know each other but still can talk about the same thing. |-/

Hey friend! I would really recommend, if you are looking for more Blurry content and background, there's a relatively recent 'Brad Taste in Music' video where he gets taught 'The Lore' by two super smart Clikkies. One is an expert in all things Trench and the other is an expert in Blurryface. She even got a like from Blurry! On one of her tweets. Also, if you dig really deep on KZbin, there are a couple videos from that time period when he was always screwing with us. There's a video (series? At least a two part video) made by Luka Shepherd (a thousand years ago) that is exceedingly well done. I would put Luka Shepherd Blurryface Twenty Øne Pilots in the KZbin search bar and you should see it in the first two or three videos. Now that I have advised you to do this, I am going to go try to see if it works and/or if I can come back with a direct link.

so if the outside mv is right after saturday mv then him arriving on shore explains the cut on his nose ... nowhere in the mv saturday is his nose cut but when he arrives on shore on the mv the outside its cut already .... so him drifting in the ocean and onto the shore is where he cuts his nose right ?

The music videos for Saturday and The Outside definitely happen years after the Trench music video trilogy. We can tell that it's been a while, because the kids from the end of the Nico and the Niners music video are grown up at the end of the music video for the Outside

The only theory I kind of have about the cut on the nose is that maybe it symbolizes that a person has left Dema, that's why Tyler had it in Jumpsuit when he escaped Dema and went into the trench. And why Clancy had it after he escaped Dema thanks to the shipwreck and washed up on Voldsøy. But that's just a theory. Also the cuts are different sizes, the one in the Outside is a lot bigger so maybe the point of that was to show that it was a different cut entirely. We know that years have passed between Jumpsuit and The Outside bc the boy and girl from the end of the Nico and the Niners music video are grown up in the music video for the Outside. I think Tyler's cut on his nose would have healed by now. Also the cut is a lot bigger in the music vid for the Outside. Maybe when someone leaves Dema, they get a cut on their nose or it has a different meaning? But also it's just a theory |-/

My theory is that either Clancy got hurt on his way to Voldsøy (which makes sense bc he looked exhausted when he washed up on the shore) or that a cut on their nose symbolizes that someone has escaped Dema like I mentioned in the previous comment, but those are just theories of course :)

I am honestly and utterly surprised that no one else is seeing this, this is a drug fueled trip to disneyland, I know it sounds crazy, but get ready. First video off of SAI is Shy Away, the 2 noticable references, Tyler's hair, he has two micky mouse hair puffs that look like ears, and they are in the parking lot going in and it looks like autopia the ride Second video, choker, this is not tyler, just the vessel, that is why josh traps him in the bobblehead, my guess, it is blurryface. As josh drags him In the net they go by some clique writing spray painted on the ground that says blurry, third video Saturday, now if you can't see the references in this video, well ok, they are on a boat which used to be a ride at disneyland between autopia and it's a small world, then they get on a submarine, which has the front of the mellinium falcon cockpit from star wars,they get hit by the dragon (not trash I think it's the dragon from fantasmic the show they used to do twice a night, but it looks like farawind from the neverending story, then when the submarine is floating it looks like a burning joint, tyler and josh surface from the water, as the dragon swims underneath them it looks like the monorail track Fourth video the outside Starts off with the dragon being killed, fantasmic at disneyland is no more, they wash up on a island beach, and tyler is high as a kite, the island is tom sawyer's island, and they are exploring it throughout the video, the final clue, at the end as it gets to the two kids there is a glowing galaxy looking light, it is galaxy's edge, or star wars land, tyler does iawaska in this video which is nuts, so he should be tripping his ball off by the next video, I think they will do 2 more, mulberry Street which will be main street usa, and redecorate probably,where they get to galaxy's edge and ate disappointed cause it is nothing more the a giant store for exclusive items you can only get by paying $155 just to get into the store. Get it? I do
