Yfke really was very thin there, I'm glad she's getting some extra rations! She's too cute slobbering the milk and getting a white mouth, hehe. It may test their friendship for a while when the foal is born. Mares are naturally protective of their foals in the first month of so, even to close herd members.

For a while I had been noticing that Coralle and Uniek were gradually becoming more and more companionable. So I'm not a bit surprised they've become good friends. They seem to have a mutual respect and understanding. Also, I don't know if/how Westphalians are ranked, and I don't know anything about horses either, but to my eyes Coralle looks just like royalty every time I see her. And it seems she KNOWS she's royalty too, a very beautiful and regal lady indeed. And the perfect lady to be surrogate to a special little prince/princess.🥰

Hope they remember the Shetlands in their stall build. Sometimes these ponies seem to get left out-- example: Glendy and Mario have the smallest space of all. but now have added two more horses into prime stalls and have inseminated two mares recently. Maybe time to sell the Ponies...

Coralle is a beautiful horse. It would be nice to see her own foal as well, but I am sure in a few months time she will love Unique‘s baby just the same. She will just wonder why it is a different colour, but probably not as Risey‘s biological mother looked very different from him as well.

Oh so nice to be able to help your neighbor, so they can ride, see there horses more. Yfke sure learned fast with the milk. Wunder can turn your milk bowl into a toy. Ponies eat everything, they love the flower tops of burr bushes. Dad used them to clean bushy areas, they eat there way through.

Y’all are very busy at Stal H! I love how Yfke recognizes her name for her bowl of milk! She’s such a sweetheart! I love how every animal of yours has something to do and lots of differnet activities. Of course moms being moms most of the time and I think that is good. Even though glendy and daisy might profit from a little groundwork (but you know that...little chubby 😉). Coralle and Uniek connecting really shows their good nature. And they are both stunning. And by the way Coralle waiting for Uniek and walking the same direction when Uniek enters the pasture shows a lot. Coralle also seems in stress when Uniek leaves. Horses are special.

I so like how friends and neighbours assist each other in Fryslan! Dreamy and Up Top are lovely horses....Martine and daughter have an arena in which to exercise them, The Friesians learning to accept other horses....Your boys learning, that although Friesians are the BEST horses, they are not the only ones....seems like a winning situation for all!
