I just don't understand Constantine's thought process here, neither WTRC or the Netflix series were very successful, and now they're making a prequel to WTRC and making another post apocalyptic Netflix series with James Marcus's daughter as a character. And then they got Ada crammed into the RE0 story? Is Constantine even capable of learning from their mistakes?

@The_Phoenix_Saga If anything I'd rather they focused on the RE0 and RE1 slow burning into the events of RE2 and RE3 than trying to squeeze two games into one and twisting the story with non-existent concepts that make no sense. Two examples I can think of are Chris being adopted by William Birkin and Claire knowing Lisa Trevor from an orphanage. And the less Leon is brought up, the better.

I never liked any of the recent Star Wars movies or shows as well that of any recent Star Trek material. I've done my part in keeping my wallet away as well as voicing how crappy most these recent games, movies or TV shows are, but it won't make any difference since I'm just one individual compared to the millions of tourists out there.

Here's my opinion on the subject: The proposed RE title "Arklay" should've been a two-part movie incorporating game 0, game 1, the Umbrella Chronicles scenarios Beginnings, Nightmare and Rebirth as well as pulled a bit from the S.D. PERRY novels; a scene featuring Wesker giving his monolog at the end of Rebirth would be a cherry-on-top to me. As for Welcome to Raccoon City, that should've been a trilogy combining Outbreak, Nemesis and G along with the S.D. Perry novels for some added context; finding the exact chronology for all the events would be extremely tedious I'm sure. My point is: if movie producers want to please the fans, they need to ASK the fans what they want

Jesus wept, they could do such more with live-action than a retelling. The remakes are already the retelling. Buckle in, because this is what I would do because if a series must be made, let it be this. Resident Evil: Umbrella’s Downfall Season 0 - The events of the initial outbreak in the Spencer Mansion, focusing on events outlined in the various diaries and letters in the game. Show the deterioration of the Keeper, the destruction of the Aqua Ring and Plant 42’s growth. Shift the focus to the R.P.D. and their attempts to investigate the murders that begin in the outskirts of the city. The season would end with Bravo Team heading out to begin their investigation. Season 1 - The events of Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil. To bridge the events, show Rebecca and Richard surviving in the mansion like in Umbrella Chronicles. The finale would be the destruction of the Spencer Mansion, and maybe a few news stories about a mysterious fire that destroyed a substantial part of the forest caused by a gas leak at the Spencer Estate. In other words, Umbrella spin doctors at work. Season 2 - The S.T.A.R.S. survivors begin their investigation, hampered by Chief Irons. Show some focus on Birkin working with the G-Virus and sabotaging other facilities. Begin foreshadowing the outbreak in Raccoon City as people begin showing symptoms of a new unexplained disease. End the season with Operation NESTWRECKER on the 22nd of September, and Birkin’s massacre of the USS forces. Have a final shot of rats discovering spilled virus samples. For the credits, I’d probably use the theme from Outbreak’s intro. Season 3 - The events of the Raccoon City Outbreak. The largest arc of the series, giving it could tell the story of Jill and Carlos, Leon, Claire, Ada and Sherry, as well as the Outbreak survivors. Start with the gradual degradation of order, the quarantine of the city and the slow death of a town owned by Umbrella. End with the government sterilising Raccoon City from the perspective of each group. Jill and Carlos from their helicopter, Leon and Claire finding out from wherever they escape to and the Outbreak survivors either on the outside of the city or from a helicopter. Season 4 - The Raccoon Trials begin between Umbrella and the US government. The events of Rockfort Island and the Antarctic base play out. Have it end with Wesker recovering the T-Veronica Virus from Steve’s body and arranging a meeting with Javier Hidalgo. Season 5 - Make this the final one. The events of Operation Javier take place in which Manuela survives. As the Raccoon Trials drag on, Umbrella retreats to its final facility in Russia. Chris and Jill infiltrate and destroy the T-A.L.O.S project while in the season finale, Wesker infiltrates the facility and kills a mutated Sergei Vladimir. After credits scenes of various news reports discussing the fall of Umbrella and the warrant for the arrest of Oswell E. Spencer. End with a final scene of a species of fossilised parasite being excavated beneath an unnamed region in rural Spain. That’s how I’d do it at least. Combining events from the game as well as bringing the various files to life in some form or another to tell the stories of not only our main characters, but the events that led up to situations encountered by those characters.

Im a RE FAN and literally wrote a script about RE ZERO… highlighting the story of bravo team and diving into details of what happened to them. but I’m a nobody….so no one will see it. However, the team behind REWTRC will ruin this idea!

If your a real RE fan you would have known when the Original 6 films ended they announced another 6 film Reboot deal between Sony and Constantine films in 2017 after the final chapter and well we got the first one in 2021 😬 and another rumor that’s been said I can’t confirm it but after so many dupes I kind of believe it the reason we can’t get a faithful adaptation of Resident Evil is because apparently Capcom says No and won’t let anyone do one Hell even if you read the George Romero script that’s highly praised and way overrated (Sorry Romero RIP) my opinion it had its major differences from the games as well. So I would never hold my breath for a faithful adaptation besides we have the games to play it’s not like we are missing out they are masterpieces as is almost like a film and adaptations that they do would be fine as long as the story is acknowledged not completely rewrite something like um Cough Cough Resident Evil Netflix 😅 I thought Alice’s films was okay I told myself she was another character/Survivor from raccoon city she never tried to replace another character she was her own thing and people complain about powers when plenty of RE characters have Super natural abilities 😅

Seriously, Seriously! What’s the hard part of adapting RE?????????? It’s literally so easy. Thankfully as a fan (and hopefully future filmmaker) I have a RE cinematic universe plan but unfortunately this is far from my reality so far. The guys simply don’t understand what makes RE special. So sad we keep getting these pieces of garbage in live action.
