Dear Joe, Trev here from Berlin. We use these things here, more in the south of europe, France, Switzerland.. they're brilliant for snedding. Something you use your small axe for. I like these better.. Maybe you already know them - cost 40 bucks and they're great.leoneshopknives.com/Due-Cigni-Billhook-Knife_2C-262-28

Joe, I've been watching your videos for a few years now. You have inspired me to try bushcrafting. I'm a 56 yr old grandmother and a year and a half ago I built my first shelter. I've slept out in it a few times. I love being in the outdoors! Keep doing what you do. I also watch TA Outdoors and Some other people. All of you give me ideas. I'm currently working on a more permanent shelter. I'm hooked

Hi Joe im new to your channel and must admit I has been a real joe watching you on your adventures. unlike many others with bushcraft camping and canoing each of your epiodes has something different to learn or watch. Your never boring and your family are all adorable. you make me laugh and feel sad when you keep adding remarks about your size. The things you can do and all alone are amazing you sure are one strong man and very smart and so energetic. Your even a great loving dad and hubby. just such a refreshing guy... nothing small about you at all im sure your parents are very proud of you. just never forget you are not a lesser man because you are smaller than than most. i dont know you personally but already i can see you are definately 10 feet tall to your family and friends. love your videos and love the passion you have for nature. take care and blessing to you and your family.

Hi Joe Merry Christmas and a happy New year from the U.K. to you and your family and everyone watching this 🎅🤘 With everyone on lockdown over this virus watching these is the closest I can get to camping or being out messing about on the river, roll on 2021 and hopefully a return to normality 🤘

Thanks for the video Joe. My best friend just recently took his own life and this video made me feel a bit better. Even chuckled a couple of times. It was a welcoming ray of sunshine on a very dark day. It was nice seeing you and Doug doing your thing camping/canoeing together, gotta cherish those moments you have with your friends man. You've inspired to me to keep making videos. Thanks again. Cheers. \m/
