My girlfriend of 5 years broke up with me two days before my birthday. She went to her mom's and stayed there for two weeks until I moved out of our apartment. From watching these videos I've learned that she's an avoidant, is emotionally immature, and sometimes maybe even a gaslighter. Even though I'm probably better off I love her and being abandoned like that really hurt.

Mine just left after 10 years with no reason she is also emotionally immature it’s been 4 weeks now I love her but I don’t think I want her back after all the games she plays. We bought a house together 2 years ago that need a lot of work which is ok as I am a builder but also work full time so it’s been a slow process (not fast enough obviously) we have cctv on our phones I have the front she has the back I unplugged hers so she couldn’t spy on me while in no contact but she keeps coming round when im not in and turning it back on I had a heart to heart with my mum and didn’t realise it was on now im fuming 😡 with her but I can’t stop her coming round as it’s half her house takes showers and leaves a mess all over the house like a little child shes pathetic.

Hi coach, I just observed myself lately that I'm doing ok, feeling happy because I wake up in the morning and no longer feel an emptiness or sadness. But then, this week I noticed I'm back at missing him again. Then, I just realized our Monthsary (Monthly Celebration here in the Philippines) is coming. But then I always turn to your chanel to sooth my anxiety. I know healing is not a straight road, but rather a bumpy, zigzag road to reach my destination. It's been 2+ months of NC, there are days that I want to reach out. But I always hear Coach Margarette, Victoria and Craig voice. Thank you for your videos. You've been so helpful. ❤️

Really nice stories. And thanks for yours in here too, Craig. I felt both ways about no contact success stories, felt upset and compared that it wasn’t or wouldn’t happen like that for me, and then liked to hear them as hope. I feel now, 8 months later I’m calm, starting to get a real handle on my growth and indifference to my situation and I can listen to others’ success stories and be genuinely pleased for them. 😊 Thanks Craig for all you do, really appreciate it. Love from Melbourne Australia. I wanna come meet you in person one day!

Craig. When I’m certain I have a more substantial success story, I want to share mine. Particularly in regards to overcoming anger if that is an issue other men might be having. I know that some people can get very frustrated in no contact. It might feel like your ex is never going to reach out. If you had significant anger issues, this can be a heavy barrier to your ex reaching out. So how can you show your ex that you can manage your emotions better? And I don’t mean just show them, but actually really manage your emotions. Anyway, when my success story is more substantial I would like to share it but I would also like to hear your and Margaret thoughts. It was great that you got a little bit personal in this video. I am starting to talk to my ex again but you already know that it’s time to double down on the work and be over prepared. I am really focused on personal growth still and managing my stress and anxious behaviors. There is no let up from me.

I was the dumper. We had only dated for 2 months and it was almost perfect. But i broke up. Two days later i reached out and apologized and regretted it. He said he couldn’t get over it and couldn’t see us starting over or continuing. I know he is back on the dating apps. We left it on a good note, saying that we still liked and cared for each other and we might go back together in future if we are stil single etc. I feel sad about it. I’ve gone into no-contact but I don’t even know if it is useful in this case. Advice needed please!!

No contact is more for the dumpee. As the dumper you need to be the one to humble yourself, apologize, and try to get him back. if he doesn't want that though then you need to respect his wishes and move on.

My situation is very peculiar. I was seeing this girl & we never got to dating but we kind of had a thing. A month ago she started acting distant & I tried really hard not to take it personal because we weren’t dating even though I was very attached to her. She said she had lost feelings & I just played it cool & stopped responding. I wonder if no contact will work in a situation like this but even if it doesn’t I’ll just work on myself for now.

I had a similar situation. This girl and I were very close and attached to each other and saw each other regularly. We basically lived together. She had been recently single when me and her started seeing each other. We hit it off and we’re very into each other. She just wasn’t ready to commit. The way things ended, I messed up. I broke her trust. I would talk to close friends of mine at the time about me and her and revealed personal I formation to them about her as well. I wasn’t doing it to talk about her behind her back, I said things in a panic over a stupid nightmare. I also went to them for advice and reassurance but they got mad after me and this girl had some issues and threw me under the bus saying I was victimizing myself and making her out to be the bad guy in all of this. I had no idea those friends did that and I went to them again and they made it worse. So she decided to give up and call me and her quits. I made a mistake and broke no contact with a clean slate message in a long and overwhelming message. Which she hates. She threatened to block me but didn’t because I finally left it alone. Then she did block me after two mo the from that message I sent right after her grandpa passed away. I hadn’t contacted her but she still blocked me. Turns out more friends of mine tried throwing game under the bus again because they felt they needed to shield her from me and called me a creep and obsessed. Third parties are awful and please be careful. Not everyone, even “friends” are going to be there for you. Even if they try to say you can trust them. Sometimes strangers are more kind than people who call themselves your friend. I still haven’t contacted her. It’s been almost 4 months since she blocked me and it sucks because I was very close to her and her daughter.

@@Jacobo8448holy shit man that sucks. For me I was doing A LDR and she had just made friends with a coworker 2 months after we started dating. Around 2 months into this friendship they became best friends and got matching tattoos (should of seen this as a red flag) anyways a week or 2 later she started going through a really bad depression so I sent her a few around 3 daily messages to her saying good morning i hope you’re doing well and have a good day. 2 weeks after slowly distancing herself she just sent me a long message about how there’s opinion that I have she can’t get over and she’s done with the relationship I asked if we could have a conversation and she said. “The fact you think you have the right to a conversation shows how controlling you are towards women” I was shocked and though her friend had to have convinced her of something so I told her sorry and she said “so and so ex bf acted just like you before he started beating her wether you know it or not it’s just a matter of time” that fucking killed me I ended it off with saying “I’m so sorry I wish we met under different circumstances and you didn’t think of me this way take care I hope for the best.” And she said I was being pathetic trying to get her back didn’t respond to that and she sent another message 10 mins later saying “I bet so and so and you would respond because you just can’t catch a hint and now it’s honestly just annoying” man I’m fucking gone

I did no contact with someone that I went on 2 dates with, after they told me that they were “sorting through things” (I know, it doesn’t make sense to me either) … I replied “got it, thanks”. We did not talk for 4 weeks. He reached out the other week asking how I was doing & inviting me over for friend gathering at his place. I told him that I appreciated him reaching out but didn’t like the inconsistency & pulling away. He has not responded since. Did I did something wrong by relaying a boundary? Since she noticed about the diagnostic until the death she broke up with me 3 times, the notice was a year ago and they unfortunately her mother has already passed away. Our relationship lasted 4.5 years, this is the third time she broke up with me in this last year since the tragic diagnostic. The first 2 times she reached out in 2 and 3 month after the break up. In this last time we have 3.5 months since talk and she hasn’t reach out, just once to say how great I see in my profile’a picture and to tell me a notice about our favorite band. She is avoidant, how many times do they come back? Thanks.

Keep your focus on you like Craig always says, my ex even though he's reached out hasn't said sorry or even ask how I am, it's just about himself, if I hadn't done the work books I would be back at square one, make sure you choose someone who's willing to work on themselves too, it can't be one side. Sir I'm going through relationship problems. I met a girl on Instagram, she started liking me and got very attracted towards me. Then we came in a relation and fell in love. But now she is acting weird. She use to love me a lot but now she is acting cold & don't want to be with me anymore for no reason. We never fought, we never argued, I never disrespected her still this happened to me. When I asked her why? She said that "I'm not having same feelings for you now & want to move on" Now she is ignoring me on social media and don't want to meet or hangout. I asked her for a chances to make this better but she is not willing to do so. We both are from different colleges & have no common friends. I don't know what should I do now. What's the reason behind this. I just love her and she gets irritated whenever I try to explain her what I feel for her. All she wants is just to come out of this relation. I feel so miserable & defeated as this was my first love experience. This was first time I came much closed to a girl. First date, first hug, first kiss and ofcourse my first breakup. I don't know what went wrong. I am perfect & I knew it and even she use to say this. She use to appreciate me a lot. She use to say that the only thing a girl wants is love, care & support and you give it all. Your the best boyfriend, why didn't we met before. But then after few months she said things are not same anymore and "I don't have same feelings for you anymore". I don't feel the same when you hold my hands, huge me, kiss me as it use to. Is this a reason to break-up. With this reason I can change girls every month. Why she has no sense of commitment and responsibility. Why can't she see my love for her. Why can't feel my pain. why? She is not a bitch like many girls around me in college. She is a decent & very humble and that was the main reason why I came in relation with her. Please & tell me why is this happening and what should I do. I knew its easy to say move on but I'm not able to. Please help me 🙏🏼
@oleugh
@oleugh 2 жыл бұрын
There can be many reasons. She found someone else that she caught feelings for, you could've shown behaviors she didn't like. It's impossible to know anything without knowing the full story. You won't be able to move on if you keep telling yourself that you can't. This isn't healthy either when you feel like you need her in your life to be able to be happy. You need to be happy with your life regardless if you have a partner or not, cause if you are not, you will cling to them and be terrified of them leaving you, cause like Craig says; If you are terrified that they will leave you, you will behave in a way that causes them to leave. Feelings change over time, just because she says she loves you and wants to marry you, doesn't mean she will feel the same a month later. I recommend watching Craigs videos, really study your own behaviors and learn from what happened as much as possible. I also recommend watching The Love Chat, he also has a lot of really helpful videos. Hope this helps.
