I also have a gb150 jump starter pack, that will not charge normally, both resistors, r25a and r25b, Both meter out as they should, the weird thing is, each time you apply for charging power to the 12-volt plug or the USB plugg, using an amp meter, the jump starter will charge, but it only will charge for about 0.5 to 1 second long charge, then you have to disconnect the charging power, for about 5 seconds, then it will charge again for another half-second when you plug it back in, And you can do that all day long, but it will still never charge for more than one second, upon application of power. Thanks!

I have a gb20 that won't charge. Taken it apart. I get 5v at pins on micro USB. Battery testing at just over 8v. Bad/over discharged battery?

check each battery cells voltage, to see if you have a bad cell

usually the r100 burned from shorted the clamps, bad car battery, or polarity reverse the connectors to the battery

Hi again and many thanks for your prompt reply but I'm a little confused, as Noco state that with their GB Boosters, you can 'Safely connect to any 12-volt car battery with our mistake-proof design featuring spark-proof technology and reverse polarity protection', so surely this should protect the Resistors? However, I note in the User Manual, that the 'Manual Overide Button' disables the 'Safety Protection', do you think this would cause the fault? My reason for asking, is that I'm thinking of purchasing the GB70. Many thanks 👍
