How hard is it to Mount 100 series seats to a FJ60? Thanks great truck
@procruiser2 жыл бұрын
It takes some cutting and welding but it’s not too bad. All the carpet has to be removed and the original seat mounts on the floor need to be modified

Can an FJ80 take a 2.8 cummins instead of the vortek?
@procruiser2 жыл бұрын
Yes, We install them in FJ60s and 62s all the time. It's a great option.

The LS is a big fail, ruined a nice rig forever...

Just like politics, the classic car restoration world has its parties. On one side there are the hard core purists who believe that all vehicles should remain completely original. On the other side are the folks that believe that everything should be modified when building a rig. We are moderates that lean towards the purists side. I believe that keeping as much Land Cruiser DNA as possible is very important. I also believe that some models of Land Cruiser are untouchable and that most or all modifications are strictly off limits. While I believe adding a modern V8 engine to some models really doesn’t add that much value, when done correctly, it does enhance the practicality of the vehicles for some users. For that reason it will remain on our menu for now. Also, it’s important to note that nothing is forever. We’ve done engine “unversions” (resenting a vehicle to its stock drivetrain) before and I’m sure we will do it again!

@@procruiser Wow, thank you for taking the time to personally respond. I'm sorry If I came off as harsh. I think what I would like to see is someone try and keep it Toyota by putting in the 5.7 liter iForce. I'm sure they could be found cheap from early Tundra's. Thanks again!
