During the winter, you should take 4,000 to 6,000 IUs of D3 every day with Vitamin K2. During the warmer months, if there's a lot of sun, you can eliminate or cut back on the D3 and K2. Of course, a blood test to determine your D3 absorption is best, but generally, the healhcare system doesn't want to do that. Of course, prayer is always needed in either large or small doses. 😊

Fr Mark. Yes take your d3 .😀🌞 But you did not mention the dosage.? After years of living in the darkness of our Arctic and working there in the Health Field..We always took our d3 . Most of our Clinics had a SA D light as well for the long dark winter months .😩 Clients would often come in to our coffee room and relax for twenty plus minutes as they read or chatted in front of it.😁 We have been using these lights for well over thirty years in my practice. Very effective for many people in combination with diet change and other treatments to include getting out side in the fresh air.😀 Many people are affected with fatigue depression or a feeling of a low mood and lack of motivation in our Northern Climates during Fall and Winter . It’s called Seasonal Affective Disorder caused by the lack of sunshine which increases our melatonin in our bodies. The opposite happens to us in the Summer in regards our energy and decrease of this hormone for most people. Fr Mark there are actually people in the Summer months that are affected in the same way by the increase in sunshine and lack of melatonin. Not me T.G.🙏🏻 Us living in Canada get very little or no sunshine during these short dark days in the fall and winter North of the Equator is a big factor. People on the Prairies do better than some parts of our country as they get the cold weather with Sunshine.🌞 Now that I am back living in the dark wet pacific coast I continue to take Vitamin D 3 with k2. Or a piece of Brie cheese which also helps to absorb the D3. if the k2 is not available? The most important thing is to take the correct amount . Most people are not taking enough of the d3. Vitamin d3 is a a hormone and not a vitamin.🤔 Lots of resources on utube to check out why your Doctor is giving you the d3 and B 12. I have been following you since you lived in Texas.Thank you for all you do.Its so appreciated.🙏🏻 Excuse my long winded response.😩 I hope this information helped you a bit. Blessings on your day and all reading this . Gerri 🙏🏻☘️☕️
