Jagged Earth for Spirit Island really amps up the game. If you get a chance give it a try. Favorite co-op by a mile. You also might have convinced me to try All Creatures Big and Small.

I noticed you did both in this video which is still very nice! One or the other could be sufficient. Its really nice to be able to watch the video and know what the game looks like and satisfy my curiosity without having to constantly pull them off bgg. Thanks a million!

I know I am a late edition to all the other comments (I live in Down Under -- the time zones!), but I like also to add that Spirit Island is a phantastic Solo game. I personally can't wait for all the new Kickstarter goodies to add to all the rest I already own. For some games (like this) I would buy everything without thinking. Love your show as always. Like my favorite game Go, Spirit Island takes several plays to fall in love with. So, Sunniva you made the right decision to give it another try.

Zhanguo! (now I have Rob's, from Comics Explained, voice stuck in my head) "Son! Let me tell you something son..." Zhanguo is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, period. I was mentally prepared for this Keep or Cull since you answered my last comment, but I still get super pumped just from hearing talking about it! What is your favourite player count with it? I am curious to play both Cave vs Cave and All creatures big and small. Agricola didn't hit the spot with me as with most people. I didn't hate it, but I didn't fall in love with it. It's a pleasant game. Caverna I have no idea. I forgot you culled Castles of Burgundy the cards. I feel it is as good as the original one with the big advantage of the smaller box. I wasn't sure to get my own copy of castles, but now I am more than happy with the "smaller" version of it

I haven't played Zhangou that many times, but enjoyed it all times. Think it's been only 4 players, if I remember correctly! I do not agree on Castles the card game being as good as the big one, but that is ok :P

Very interested in Yellow and ZhanGuo. Disappointed in not keeping Spirit Island. It's definitely my favorite game of all time and I'm always up for playing it. It's understandable if you can't table it.

Oh no! I really like the best and worst experience bit! Please keep doing it. I like the sound of the monthly video talking about that stuff, and will definitely watch them, but for me that doesn’t get in the way of also saying it at the end of keep or cull. It doesn’t take long and I don’t think it will spoil those bigger monthly videos. For me it feels very satisfying and informative to know your best and worst experience of that bunch you’ve just talked about, it sort of ties it all together and helps it makes more sense somehow. Without that I don’t feel so clear about where the different games really stood for you. Pretty please🤞 Also, are you trying to keep the Keep or Cull videos shorter? I felt like this one and the last one kind of rushed through at top speed. I’m all for shorter videos in general, but when you talk very quickly and it has a feeling of being in a hurry it’s not so enjoyable for me, it feels a bit stressful and harder to take in what you’re saying. Also it kind of gives the impression you’re not enjoying it and are just trying to get through it. I really liked the more relaxed pace of the older ones. Interesting games this week, I’m going to check out Queen of Hansa now. Excited about the idea of the videos with stats and stuff! I love stats, and those kind of overviews. I agree that it will not take away from the «Game of the month» video to quickly add best and worst, so we will continue doing that! To the lenght of the videos. We do not try to make them any shorter 😅 Are we speaking quicker than usual? If so, I will try to be better, but cannot promise anything, hehe! But nothing is done to keep the videos shorter! Spirit Island is the best coop game in my collection, nothing else comes even close, possibly the best game in my collection all together and you'll have to pry it away from my cold dead hands to make me part with it. If you don't have it I highly recommend playing with the Branch & Claw and or Jagged Earth expansions as the event cards and the tokens add so much more depth to the game and honestly Spirit Island should never be played without them. The vast variety of the spirits and powers make it a game with near infinite replayability value that basically can last you a lifetime.

You know - Spirit Island is also very good solo, even with just one Spirit. Either of the expansions already out add events which mix up the game just enough to not feel like it's quite as deterministic.

I'd love for a copy of Yellow & Yahtzee, its a shame it went out of print. I know its getting picked up again but I don't like the new look myself I love Cave vs Cave! I mainly play it solo however. Expansion still in shrink. Would want to see a 3 player expansion for it, I don't get to play 2 player much which is why I haven't picked up All Creatures Big & Small since it doesn't have a solo mode either.

I’ll check out the new version, but will probably just keep the one we have! :) Yeah, it’s a weird thing for me. We do play quite a bit 2 player, but I am not finding myself loving a lot of these smaller 2 player only games. I cannot put my finger on what the reason is!

I want Sunniva to play the app for Yellow & Yangtze and see if she is able to grow an appreciation for it. I bought the app over a year ago and learned the rules and didn’t like what I was reading so I put it down. Then I tried it again two months ago and now I love it. I think that playing via the app against the AI can get someone over the hump and really start enjoying it.

Yellow & Yangtze was a revisited Tigris & Euphrates; I still prefer T&E. Played Huang demo at Spiel, it felt more like just a 'deluxified' retheme of Y&Y. Huang will come to Gamefound end February.

We did a full review of the game back when it released! We played one full campaign and did enjoy it, but will probably never play it again! I’m unsure if we culled it or if it’s still here! Hope that helps :)

My fav #1 game, can’t cull it. But obviously if you just don’t like coops, then I guess you can consider it. I guess I mainly play games with my wife and she loves coops and she loves this game because it is the epitome of of coops. I do play it solo also too, I haven’t met that many people that dislike it, assuming they are into coops
