Hey Derek....ye got some proper snow in places . I could never get used to heated hand grips, just used to wear double gloves 😊 not a bad singing voice too mate .I've never seen a shop called Fatboys before 😂 I miss normal fish n chips in Latvia .and all finished with a petrol tank view 😅 careful Derek you might start a trend 🤗 all the best ....Harry

Thanks for taking us on a trip along roads with " proper snow" up here in Scotland we only seem to get a sprinkling of the fake stuff. The swing arm on the new Kawasaki's looks horribly cheap, I'd expect far better from them. It's disappointing when OEM heated grips for which they charge a premium, just don't perform well at all. I've heard the same said of Triumphs but have to say they're pretty good on the Rocket. The BMW ones are too hot on the highest setting, you can't really beat Oxford and they're great value.

Hi I’ve seen the snow on the news yes Kawasaki are definitely going backwards with a wheel alignment. Totally agree about the grips. They’re absolutely crap. Thank you for watching.👍🏍️😎

Ey up You chose a right day for a ride to Matlock Bath 🥶🥶. That snow came down Monday night/Tuesday morning, we had about 5” here in Matlock Bank. Watch out for those birds, if they’re not smashing your Comms off then they’re pinching your chips 😂 Like other shops in Matlock Bath, Charles closes midweek during winter months

I did try and get in the church choir but said I’m not serious enough 😅😂it’s only November still autumn. James said back in 2010 it snowed in November and we had a white Christmas fingers crossed. We haven’t had one of them for years thanks for watching 👍🏍️😎

That change to the chain adjuster is definitely a backwards step. I have the big offset circular gizmo on the Z1000 and it's so much better. So easy to adjust without having to worry about alignment. I went with Oxfords on that bike and they're great. The Honda heated grips don't even get close to the Oxfords. Matlock looked a bit emptier that when I went a few months back 😀

Hi Richard they are definitely going backwards Kawasaki with the wheel alignment. I’ve sent the Oxford pro grips back had going to get the normal Oxford ones. Yes the Matlock biker said most of the chippys don’t open mid week 👍🏍️

Love to see another solomoto uk video. You are spot on with kawasaki going backwards i am glad i am not the only one who noticed it. It looks cheap on the new bike. Personally I am not impressed with the new bikes. Not enough difference and gone backwards in some ways.

Hi the meal was nice and warming I love fish & chips , them seagulls wanted food. The Cardo wasn’t clipped in right the release part was bent lucky Kurtis seen it land in the snow bit of a scratch but works still 😎🏍️👍

Hi Gregor yes the chain adjuster they have gone backwards, and the heated grips are not worth talking about big is like having BMW’s ones on number 1 like warm only 👍🏍️

@@SOLOMOTOUK I get it. I never tried them. All my bikes were without, but it is also true that I avoid riding on very cold days. Yesterday it was 1 degree C and I rode a bit, because of filming. :)

@@RRRRefuelRideRaceyes it’s the wind chill the temperature was -1 but the roads were well salted I like heated grips even through I have heated gloves the grips keep your plan warm where the gloves heat the back of your hand I’m looking into powerbronze hand guards to keep the wind off your hands 👍🏍️😎

Just got under a 1000 miles left before the big engine service value check oil brake fluid. Now here’s the nice bit where I bought it from up north the dealership said if I bring it in over the winter there knock £150 off so will only cost me £400 so in January I’ll be taking it then but I’d like to get another bmw gsa again 👍🏍️😎

Hi Derek…Never had a problem with my Cardo falling off… It does seem pretty secure when it’s on the helmet …and does take a bit of effort to get off to charge …Might be that it’s not seating right with the magnet …👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@@2wheeledwillie395 hi Willie Steve was a good down to earth bloke. I was quite shocked to how his family acted when passed away. Kurtis my loves that 35 year old Kawasaki Gpz 500 renamed to that I had it from brand new imported from USA known has the 500 ninja. You find another one of them I. The Uk they hazard light and running lights in the indicators has standard. Over here at the time them running lights were illegal so had to change them for the gpz indicators. Goes back a long time that bike been to Ireland and Europe with it. Thank you for watching I appreciate it Willie 👍🏍️😎

Wow! Derek and your Curtis are real bikers, it looked a lovely day but cold. You mentioned the neck closure on your jacket, I have found that problem with both of my MERLIN jackets, the strap length is too short. I am looking forward to the ride to Matlock Bath along with the fish and chips but not until the summer. 😅👍🏍

@@johnimmins7302 hi John since Kurtis has passed his big bike test all he wants to do is ride the white bike. the last big ride on that for him was in 2000 I took him to London on it he always on about that. The manufacturers this day and age don’t think about the collar I don’t think they always seem too small and tighten strangler I have to have mine clipped back. I know I can extend it but I don’t really wanna wreck the Jacket £800 that Gore-Tex was. We’re be going there quite often in the summer to plenty of nice roads to ride in that area thank you for watching John 👍🏍️

Hi Derek, handguards is a good shout and they really make a difference. Re the Oxford pro grips, I have them on the Bandit and I don’t think they are as good as the cheaper Oxford ones on my Honda. The pro grips look great as there is no controller but the Oxford grips with the controller are far more hotter from my experience. We’ve not had any snow where I am yet but it’s been sub zero all week. That ride looked bloody cold. That was strange with the Cardo falling off? I’ve never had my one fall off except when I came off the bike and fortunately it survived, albeit with some scratches lol. Ride safe Derek!

Hi Sean going to see if I can send them back. The Cardo found out it was bent the clip on the helmet fitting all sorted now a year is nearly here with the bike might change it 👍🏍️
