The other places in the UK that has aardvarks are Blackpool zoo, Jersey zoo, Longleat safari park, Shepreth wildlife park and ZSL Whipsnade zoo. ZSL London Zoo lost their aardvarks in a fire at the Animal Adventures section which was where they lived. They stopped having aardvarks once the fire happened. There is now a total amount of 7 places in the UK that houses aardvarks.

Another possibile habitat design is a night house. Berlin Zoo has a really nice night house under their cat house. The ardvarks are keept together with Senegal bushbabys and South African springhares. The habitat is of similar size as cologne but has little decoration. Only some rocks and logs, but no plants.

Great vid, personally I’ve never seen an indoor aardvark habitat as big as these, all of the aardvarks that I have seen in the UK have had large outdoor areas and smaller indoor areas.

I lived in the uk for like 2 years and I can agree with you there. I have only seen 1 or 2 aardvarks and they were all in bigger outdoor areas and like a tiny building.

The only thing bad about these videos is it makes me annoyed I don't have these animals in ZSU. This is deserving of an australian national anthem.
