I am so glad you mentioned this. I almost made the same mistake, as I am getting ready to make a batch of your recommended seed mix and was going to add the coconut (cheap) one I already purchased last year. I just scrolled down and purchased the one you recommended. Im just waiting for my VAM in the mail and I will be all set. Thank you!

Do you recommend lime with peat moss? If yes how much lime.

Is the coco bliss coconut coir that is on your list triple washed? I’d hate it not to be because I got 10 bricks lol
@GardeningHomesteadingWoodwork8 ай бұрын
The listing says, "We do not use harsh chemicals or steam to process our coco coir. It is fully washed multiple times with fresh water to attain low EC levels and reduce the risk of salt build up in your soil." It sounds like it is, but not 100% sure. I left a voicemail with the seller. If they respond, I'll reply here.

i would LOVE to see a video on germination of different types of seeds, especially over time (i haven't come across that). for example (hopefully this doesn't block me, maybe i'll try changing the address..) https ://www .youtube .com/watch?v =D2xklLvK5xI (timestamp ~9 minutes) mentions that onion seeds have low germination rates after a year. i struggle with seeds that i purchase and how long they last in storage. which makes me think of another video idea, how to store seeds! i'd be more interested in the specific topic of how different types of seeds, store over time, since i haven't really seen those.
