Instead of grinding eggshells and putting them in soil, I grind the shells and then soak them in vinegar to dissolve the calcium into calcium acetate which is plant available. Then I dilute a tablespoon or 2 into a gallon of water. Using this every couple weeks have helped keep BER away, plus it’s using a waste product. The leftover shells get added to my worm bin more for grit but also to pre compost the added shells.

That's a tuff one! My biggest problem with eggplants are flea beetles and aphids,for flea beetles the best solution is beneficial nematodes, you can also spray surround on the plants,surround is a natural ultra fine white clay that is water soluble, the negative with it is it makes the plant white which looks really ugly in my opinion 😂 trust this is helpful info for you,have a blessed evening!

I put some BioAg vam…just for a little experiment, I wanted to see how much of an improvement it does if any at all since I have never used it. I took a sucker off my tomato plant stuck it in a glass of bottled water, threw it up in my kitchen window seal…Eh I’d say it took a week or two before I actually seen some roots growing. I measured about 1/2” of root. (Without cam) So last night around 5pm I took a pinch of vam just a tiny pinch. Like you would take a pinch of salt to throw it in your pan when you’re cooking. Mixed it very well into the water. Woke up this morning at 1am to go to work, looked up in the window seal and the roots were halfway down the glass. I was amazed, measured 1 1/2”. Got home from work the roots are 3 1/2” long the glass is have it in is 3 1/2” tall. So my observation is it makes a huge difference just in the vam alone for root development. Pretty fast to. It blew me away. I was just amazed how fast and how much it helped the root life of the tomato sucker. I’m so excited. My garden won’t be ready this year but I’ve got a lot of stuff in bags. The weather here is sunny and 80 one week and rainy and 60 the next. I work a lot so I work on it when I can. But it will be ready next year for sure. I’m starting my own compost as well. I was surprised how fast it gets really steamy hot inside that thing. Hope to see more video’s. God is good…God is love, if I don’t ever meet you guys in person, I will see you in the Kingdom with the Lord or the millennial reign. Which ever comes first. 😊 thanks guys

It's Endo-mycorrhizae. It's a particular mix of endo-mycorrhizae produced by a company called BioAg. The product is called VAM-Endo Mix.

What is the issue with Texas and your limitations?

As I understand it, Texas enforces label review for soil amendment products. They may require lab testing and analysis for each amendment mix as well. We're in communication with a regulatory compliance agency regarding these regulations. One of the biggest issues states have are with the claims that are made on the labels of the products. They want to make sure the claims are not false. For example, a label stating, "this soil mix will make your tomatoes grow 1000 times larger" would be red-tagged because it is false and the state's agency would issue a non-compliance notice to the manufacturer of the soil mix. Labels that make no claims and have no guaranteed analysis are much easier to pass through review.

Here's a solution for those of you who are having problems hearing the audio in this livestream: Fast solution: Use headphones/earbuds that have stereo capability. 2nd method: On Android devices, go to Settings>Accessibility>Audio Adjustment or Hearing Enhancements > Left/Right Sound Balance and slide the slider all the way to either the left or right side. Then try replaying the livestream on your device's loudspeaker. You should have good sound. (Let me know if you still don't have good audio.) Remember to put the slider back to the middle/center when finished. I don't have an Apple device to test for a solution at the moment. The solution should be similar to the Android device solution. Cause of problem for you techies: Some of the audio feed stereo sources were 180 degrees out of phase, resulting in cancelled out/null audio when played back on a single speaker mono device. Playing only Left or Right side of the track negates this issue. I will resolve this issue with my audio equipment so we don't have this issue the next time! 🙂 Thanks for your patience everyone as we get the bugs worked out - it was our first time livestreaming with this setup! I just went and force stopped KZbin, and restarted my phone. Phone is only web access I have, still just get just a little garbled static, if have volume way up... I'm not tech savvy at all, but think I saw someone mention they got sound after using both their earbuds... Is it possible recorded in mono instead of stereo, and feeding into non existent speakers on certain devices? If my thought makes any sense....

Hmm, strange you can't get sound. I replayed it on multiple devices and one of my cheap phones has the messed up sound, but the drum-roll and applause is really clear. Try skipping ahead to the spots where the drum roll random winner picker happens and see if your sound is good for those moments. Your idea makes sense. This is important to me to nail down what is causing issues so we don't have issues next time.

Hi sorry I missed the live mucked up the time difference with Tasmania. At least I can watch later. Love dad’s little smile as you try to figure the live screen. Don’t feel bad many others took a few goes to get it figured out Congratulations to all the winners. Some garden KZbinrs ask people to send in questions for the live it seems to help streamline things for the KZbinr. And you are also prepared if more complex ? And you can group questions. This might be worth considering. I don’t watch many lives preferring non live videos myself.
