Tonight Maymay takes her lay flat bag and turns it into a cute lil purse!

~~Measurements~~
Bag base: (1) 12 x 12 piece of pattern cardstock... score on one side at 2 1/2" and 9 1/2" then turn once and score at 4 1/2" x 7 1/2" ... then on the center squares find the middle and score diagonally to where the score lines intersect ... see the video
Bag top edging: (2) pieces of cardstock cut to 2" x 7" score on the 2" side at 1"
D-ring strap holders: (4) pieces of cardstock cut to 1 1/8" x 2 1/4" see the video for application
Handles: (2) pieces of cardstock cut to 3/4" x 12"
Scallop corner decor: (4) pieces of cardstock , see video for the installation
Purse closure: (1) piece of cardstock cut to 4" x 1"

Fashion Plates FOREVER! I about died when they came out with the new add-on plates, I may have cried at Christmas when I got them. My all-time favorite toy, and I am convinced it's why I like stamping so much! I used to make all of my fashionistas, then write their names ~like Monique, and Celeste, and Adrienne....then kept them in a big catalog! Haha! This bag is amazing!

And I still have all of those items I bought my daughter back in the day! They’re all complete and in perfect condition! When she went out on her own, she left many things behind. She did take her Cabbage Patch Kids, her complete Care Bear collection, her Furskins, the entire Strawberry Shortcake line, Rainbow Brite and Sprite, a massive sticker collection, Monchichi, all kinds of dolls like Barbie, Michael Jackson, Donny and Marie, Charlie’s Angels, games and puzzles, and the Garbage Pail kids! I kept most of what she left behind. When her daughter came to visit, she enjoyed playing with her Mom’s childhood things. By the way, that daughter of mine will turn 50 later this year and my granddaughter just turned 19! Time sure flies! Take care, stay safe, and may God Bless You and Yours! Toni
