Hi Sherry! My name is Peggy and I live in Arizona. I found your KZbin channel a couple of weeks ago and love what I've seen so far. I love to sew but I may have to begin working with paper!!! I recently bought some dresses that were too long, so yesterday I took the fabric I cut from the bottom of one and made a purse based on this video. I had it with me last night at church and then at Walmart after, and people at both places commented on it. I'm not sure how to upload pictures but I took some, just in case. A great place to get your tyvek is lg dog food bags. I just save a big square by cutting out the front or back and wash it in warm soapy water. It can be painted with gesso or kiltz paint lol f you are using one guy colored paper.

Love these purses. It took some searching for this paper and the one you shared for the second purse. I FOUND IT..........yay me.😊 The papers are amazing and soooooooooo many to choose from. However.....minimum order per design was 24 sheets @$1.74 ( think) per sheet along with a minimum total order of $150 dollars. This could be accomplished I guess if several people make a combined order 🤔 Thank you for sharing this new simple step process. 🌹

Now I wish I had brought some home from Italy in 2008! I would wander the shops in Venice and Florence in awe of the stunning stationary, fountain pens, and paper! Just no words for the sheer brilliance that is your mind! Dang woman awesome, gorgeous, inspiring and so much more! I would like to thank you for your channels transparency. I sub to a channel where what is being made is a "secret" until the end. I pointed out that it is easier to follow a tutorial if you know what is being made. I did this in a nice and respectful way. The response was disappointing. "I like to have people watch to the end, that is how I teach" I wish everyone could be a bit more like you! You are a crafting superhero and a good person! Kelly Ghirarduzzi - they can make all the excuses they want for the way they teach, but I’ve never heard of this done in any of our school systems, so why would they want to start now on their own? If you like what she usually makes, I would just fast forward all the way to the end to see the final product, and if it would be something I’d want to make and watch. You won’t be wasting your time then. Not everything people make is something we need or want to make, so I think she is really doing a disservice to herself and her viewers. I’m sorry she feels this way. And you’re right, Sherry is pretty magnificent and Queen of paper crafting sounds about right to me. One thing for sure, she never disappoints and she always has us in her heart. You, however, I hope you have an amazing day with lots of smiles and laughter to come your way 🎈

Oh my gosh! Sherry!! When I saw this purse a few moments ago, It hit me I had actually dreamt of it a night ago. No, it wasn’t the Sneak Preview video, my dream was different, short, but different. Oh Louise, Sherry, you now have dreaming about your fabulous art. Couldn’t help but laugh and smile. Too funny. Maybe in about thirty years I will be able to make these purses in about eight minutes, but doubtful anytime soon. Please know, I will be having a blast trying, an absolute blast. This is also the first time I have not wanted to go my own way and use different paper designs, sizes, and/or embellishments. I really want to make this purse exactly like the both of yours. Yes, both, for now anyways. I wouldn’t be able to make my mind if I had to choose only one either. They’re both so gorgeous, and I’m not even a shoe kind of gal like you and so many others are, so that’s saying something. And you know one of the things I like the most? You encourage us to make these following in your footsteps. All of the hard work, math, design, and all of the time you’ve put into creating these magnificent art pieces, and your sharing is a lesson we should all follow. These would make fabulous gift bags, too! I like to use items that are reusable to hold gifts. These are perfect for that and would make a nice Mother's Day gift that most children could make. Some prep work may be needed for the younger children. LOVE IT!
