Im immortal 1 currently, and something i quickly noticed was the util usage. During the first half the skye didn’t seem to use their util in order to make space, and used it more for only themself. As for the viper, they just didn’t utilize their util well and didn’t use their wall for the first five rounds. In addition to that, i noticed the viper over rotating, and neither of them preaiming angles before they swing.

although aim is a pretty important factor when ranking up, which the two lower elo players seemed to emphasize in their intros, it is also important to know that positioning and game sense help make the game a lot easier. i noticed that both of the players aim is consistently on enemy models which allows them to get the frags that they get, however what i notice alot that they seem very nervous when trying to hold site, they constantly move around rather than holding a single angle and backing off once they have the info they need. another thing is that they seem to not know how to use their util. there were many instances where skye could have flashed around a corner or flashed onto site in order to gather info or to help with the exec, similarly with viper although the viper util is decent, i wouldve liked to see him use the viper wall more for retakes and/or execs, (attacker wall across to get into Lamps and to also wall off ct)

bro, i am silver and these guys are definitely below average. so many mistakes in the first round itself. viper was peaking while crouching. aiming at body shot level and not trying to aim for the head, shot thru smokes and gave away location. i could tell how much the immortals were holding back too. skye was definitely a real gold, she wasnt playing half bad, but camped a lot the entire match, which surprisingly worked, idk how tho since in my lobbies people make sure to check every single corner

I really liked the idea of these series... until I actually decided to look up the actual rank of the 'immortals' in question. Over half of these players aren't even immortal, didn't even PEAK immortal. Half of the players peaked Ascendant 2, and some of those players (as of September 2023) are hard stuck Diamond this act. I was wondering how a Gold player could frag substantially over even 1 or 2 Immortal players, but that's because these guys aren't even Immortal lmfao. Again, I like the concept of these videos... but maybe you could try a little bit harder to find players that are ACTUALLY that rank. Kind of lame that you call hard stuck Diamond players with an old Ascendant PEAK 'Immortal' players.

I mean its better to just quick peek and see if there is an enemy and then do a pop flash rather than hold an angle with you flash out waiting for the enemy to come. Viper defense: - No viper wall for hookah and b-long (which you can do from u-hall or hookah) - Barely used molly for hookah tp - (if they won't wall hookah/b-long) no wall for showers. - Pistol round: didn't check minimap to see raze already pushed up, so viper left jett alone and played retake. Viper attack: - No wall for A-short. - No wall + orb combo for A-short. - No lurks for shower control. I play in high gold-low plat lobbies on 10-80 very highly fluctuating fps, 60-105 ms ping and some packet loss. My mouse dies for around 3-5 seconds every 5-10 minutes and cpu and gpu tempratures are over 95 (they used to be upto 109 degrees before I repasted). I do some of the best trickshots on this laptop that even the worlds best players might not be able to do (literally, not to brag or sumn). Do you think that I can get to immortal if I have a proper setup?

I believe in everything you said, except for the mouse dying part, literally just use any other mouse what you described is basically unplayable I had the exact same problems with ping (60-110ms), fps (60-120fps) and overheating (85-110C), I even repasted my cpu and gpu twice (once by repair, once by myself) I'm currently immo 2 after a new laptop, used to be diamond-ascendent back then For the overheating issues, I highly highly recommend using ThrottleStop, learn how to use it first, I'd recommend undervolting and using profiles For ping, I recommend using ethernet cable, for fps open up your task manager and close all non-essential background apps (even discord, or valo tracker [you don't have resources to spare to squeeze every one last fps]), and disable unneeded start-up apps while you're at it

Umm guys, I play on a microwave powered potato getting -3 frames per second and 500 ms in any server and I play in plat lobbies. My potato overheats every 2 minutes and my mouse disconnects for 10 seconds every minute. i still make some of the best trickshots and plays that not even professional players can do (source: trust me bro). if i had a proper setup, do you guys think I'd be immortal? 🤓🤓

0:42 the fact that this guy thinks that 15-20 kills is somehow "good" or "immortal level" when it's basically a perfect indicator of you being exactly at the right rank, told me a lot about how this video was gonna go lmao. Here's a few things I noticed about them: Skye: rarely provides any opportunity to trade. Uses utility completely randomly, like that one time where she flashed from lamps for absolutely no reason, it gave her little to no info and revealed her location, another time was B long, she dogged and got info, and then threw an info flash that obviously did absolutely nothing since she already knew where the enemy was. Another time was when flanking, threw flash for absolutely no reason, didn't peek with it, just gave away info. Another time on defense she jump peeked A main and got info, then dogged main, then flashed twice and only peeked on the second? I also noticed that skye died last pretty often which is maybe a sign of just waiting for her team to do everything for her but idk. My number 1 tip for skye would be don't play skye. My number 2 would be actually think about the util you're using and what you're gonna do after you use it. Viper: didn't use wall on defense, viper on defense on bind is absolutely broken in some situations especially her wall. General awareness is a bit poor which is low key impressive since it's likely that they were stream sniping. Crosshair placement was not the best and they had their knife out for like 90% of the game. Over rotating. No slicing the pie. Insanely shy to do absolutely anything without team there to support them. Mollied skye. Biggest piece of advice for viper is to not cheat. Second biggest is to stop relying on their teammates so much, so scared to do anything at all. The reason why I nitpicked skye so much is because after actually getting decent kills in a single immo match I don't want their ego to inflate in the slightest, they are and will continue to be a gold player and have some absolutely awful habits and decision making. One of the biggest parts of being an immortal player is actually getting there, it's one of the few ranks you can't be placed in and it takes a lot of grinding even for the best players out there. No actual immortal player has ever been stuck in gold or silver lmao.

As an ascendant player, Skye and Viper definitely do not belong any higher than they are. Util usage was very poor and at the start of the video, Skye looked very very lost and uncertain on what to do next. As for the Viper, utility usage was very poor. Wall wasn't being utilized correctly and I think he mollied a teammate too. All in all, lower elo people need to drop their ego and understand they aren't as good as they think they are.

ok, this lobby is literally easier than my bronze comp games T-T I belive i can do great in ascendant lobbies, immortal is just one step above me i think, but i feel pretty confident in my aim, crosshair placement, game sense, skill usage, and comms, even when my mic is broken :3

"Deserving" isn't about skill level. You're not entitled to anything because of your natural talent. It's about the time invested. You have to grind it like everyone else. If you can't grind to it -- obviously you were wong. Happens all the time though. Someone will pick up a game and be decently good at it. They'll dominate the early ranks and think they're goated. Then they rank up. The average difficulty increases. The grind begins. Valorant is also a team game. So even if you're cracked individually if you're not a team player you're not going to climb very fast.

the biggest give away as to who is going to climb the ranks is right at the start. viper was talking abt their teamates being bad while skye was talking abt themselfs. cant get any better by blameing someone else

I’m d2 and I don’t think I would be on ascendant because even that I have aim and good gameplay with the agents sometimes I get confused with my comms so that sabotates my teams also sometimes my teams are just too bad for plat3 or d1

what if someone thinks they deserve the rank of something but the lobby is full of one rank higher than the one suggested (if someone deserves immortal rank, and he/she is gold, the lobby that should be full of immortals is rather full of platinums)
