I found the cure for my plantar fascitis! I tried this stretching, cold bottle foot rolling, special socks, blah blah blah and none of it worked. What did work and it worked in only a few days. FOAM ROLLING my calf muscles!! I started doing this for a few minutes every day and after 2 days my pain was practically gone. I have continues to do this before any walks and the fascitis has not returned. Try it!

The stretch that worked for me is similar to this. You simply hold on to the wall and stand on your toes as high as you can. Hold it for as long as you can. You can feel it stretching your foot muscles and your calf muscles both. If you can't do one foot then do both at the same time and do it several times a day. Believe me I tried everything! I bought inserts for all my shoes, foam roller, tennis ball roll, calf massages, you name it. The one that works is what I described. Also you need to do it as soon as you get out of bed in the morning. Good luck!

I do that second stretch with an older wide belt because if you use a bungy cord it will hurt and you wont do it properly. Also buckle the belt and you wont need both hands and you wont have to grip it so tightly like you would holding the ends in both hands.

they say 'not just the toes' but it is extremely important to include the toes. the rubber band technique will likely cause us to flex our toes forward, contracting the plantar fascia while stretching the achilles tendon and calf muscle.

Plantar Fasciitis is the end result of an imbalance somewhere in your body. Fix the problem not just the symptoms...

@@Keema340 You may have week calves, you may have an imbalance in your hips, you may have sublexation in your spine. Plantar Fasciitis generally takes a long time to manifest. It's almost as the saying goes, the straw that breaks the camels back. Your Plantar Fascia becomes the straw as it can no longer spread the forces that happen in your feet.
