they are very strong, at low frequencies they destroy your car, believe me, monstrous. I suggest you take the sp15xxx 9k, or directly the new 15xxx. 👍

Any 15s in the right size box will hit hard as hell the best bang for your buck are American bass there like 200$ each and can handle alot and sound great also ct sound you can't beat

How do you know how low you can play without hurting a particular sub? Pretty much all subs I see are rated from manufacturer at 20hz+. Do these hard-core spl subs have lower ratings or do you just take them there cuz you know they can? I'm new to car audio but I love low and loud, spent what I consider to be a bunch of money on two 15s and now I'm scared to push them to hard or far lmao

@@RandoManFPV Usually a manufacturer's specified freq. (hz) is resonance, or what the sub likes to play best. You can't hurt a sub by playing too low of a freq. but you can hurt a sub by giving it either too much power or a clipped signal.

@@potatojake197 awesome so its actually safe to play say 10hz as long as you don't overpower or send a clipped signal. I've heard a lot of mixed info about frequencies below 20hz.

​@@RandoManFPV In my limited experience I'd say there's not much of a difference between 10hz and 20hz, if you're driver is obviously not happy with it (mechanical noise, nonlinear moment, excessive temp or smell, ect.) then don't do it but I've pushed a couple subs and other various drivers down low without issue​

sorry for the delay in answering, they are divers that go strong at low frequencies, so with so many liters, my friend was on the 300 liters tuned to 35 40hz 153...
