Mikeman Jordan There’s just not much evidence to support that the world has more evil people than good people. I think people are dynamic. There is good and bad in everyone. But when it comes to true evil, like sociopathic serial killers, they’re extremely rare. Go look at the statistics on crime. The chances that you’ll be a victim of a violent crime are really low. I understand why you feel the way you do. It’s a result of human negativity bias. Evolution has programmed us to remember negative experiences much more vividly than good experiences. It’s what led to our survival. I work in hospitality and some employees will say, I hate people. Everyone is such an asshole. But then when they think about it, they’ll realize that they’ve dealt with fifty customers in the last three hours and all of them were pleasant. Yet, if they have one bad interaction, it’ll ruin their day. It’s human nature to put more emphasis on the bad than the good. But the statistics don’t support our conclusions that the world is full of bad and evil people.

I like to come back to this video a lot. This guy (Carlos?) should get together with Isaac from Erik's Barbershop in Denver and start a shop together. Both those guys were phenomenal. Watching them work is like watching Michael Jordan in his prime with the Bulls. Perfectionists who are so in-tune with what they are doing that they have become naturally flawless in execution.

My barber (Mario)in Miami is Cuban, I had a gf, who was a stylist and charged alot of money for her service..It would cause a fight, everytime, when I told her I preferred my old school barber, (razor shave too), that I've been going to for 20 years now. The reason they use bare handed of a razor blade is, I think I'm from Dominican Republic too, is that most of them don't go to school, and they are though by a friend, at the beginning they don't have tools and used bare hands. Almost every barder knows this technique here.
