been running 2 stroke all my life you can do 2 things and throw all the other stuff away and you will never have any trouble out of your 2 stroke one if storing generator for a week or longer always shut off the fuel and allow the motor to idle till it runs out of gas this will prevent gunking up the carb as the fuel evaporates over time if left in carb second shake fuel well before starting and this goes for all gas be it 2 stroke mix or your lawnmower gas left in gas can stabal helps to prevent gas additive separation after it sits for 6 weeks or longer and simple shaking it up will solve this problem with all fuel problem solved without spending a dime even my 1993 2 stroke boat motor still runs like new today but i always disconnect the fuel and allow it to idle till it runs out of gas before leaving the lake

Nice video. Seafoam also acts as a fuel stabilizer, so you should be running either/or, not both. You may already be choosing between the two stabilizer products. Seafoam alone should keep the fuel stabilized and also treat the engine. What item number is your generator? There are two lots, 60338 and 69381. I had problems with the 60338 lot leaking at the spark plug port. I made a video about that on my channel. I would give a look to yours to make sure it had a good seal at the spark plug.

Maybe the craftsmen oil is made from smurf blood. The smoke it creates is the souls of the smurfs being burned up and ejected from the engine.

I just use a quality Ashless oil at 35 to 1. Yamalube is a good one. Sea If the instructions say non ashless then Sea Doo oil works good

I use Sthil Hp (silver bottle Synthetic ) works great not as much smoke as for stabilizers Trufuel has a stabilizer in it that's why an open can of it will store up to 2 yrs and a closed can I think up to 4yrs I use it to store my Honda Generator and Chainsaws just dump out old Fuel put just Enough Trufuel in to start it and just let it run out of Fuel Done

the premix is a rip off. you spend $24/gal for fuel. never ever use seafoam on two strokes as it does the same damage as running the engine without oil in the fuel. ethanol isn't a problem anymore as every engine is designed to run on it now. what was happening when ethanol first came out is that allege was growing in the carberator and fuel lines. you only need stable when storing. if you want to clean your 2 stroke engine, run a fuel injector/ valve cleaner in your fuel.

Seafoam destroy your engine? As good if not better than most. I have ran it for years and never had one engine failure.

It's not hard to explain, 2-stroke engines fire on EVERY revolution and 4-stroke engines fire on every other revolution. Single cylinder engine spark plugs fire every revolution regardless to being 2 or 4-stroke. Performance 360 by Sta-Bil is highly recommended by most manufactures as some gas stations sell gas mixed with a maximum of 10% ethanol. This is NOT the red Sta-Bil most are thinking of. It's more of a gold colour fluid. Ethanol absorbs water and turns it into an acid that eats away at the fuel system components.
