2 techniques to make disappearing 4-patch quilt blocks - video tutorial

These are different ways to slice a block that produce quite different block layouts. The technique can be applied to a number of blocks but so far I've only tried with 4-patch and one of them with a 9-patch block.

This is the best explanation of this I have ever seen. In the first one, I love that you show trimming off the excess. In the second one, I love that you show keeping track of the pieces and where they go in the block. And all without any words. And pins! We do use pins! Why pretend, as many seem to, that we don't? So glad I found you.

Always check first with my favorite quilt idea advisor. Best videos,fast clean and to the point. I have 26 fat quarters with Sunflowers,ladybugs and more flowers and plain prints. The later idea might serve well as next queen quilt. I have tried this one before in a table topper and its cute. I order your book, but still love ideas off your KZbin or sew blog. Thanks again for helping so many people,spread the word folks.

Too many ideas not enough time 😂😂 My book has 6 different blocks and several quilt patterns per block with the slice and turn idea that generates different layouts.
