I had the same problem. But the problem solved!! One day a mod Vespa appeared in my garage next to my BMW GS......!!! Convincing enough? Now she enjoys the Vespa too!!

Hi i desperately need one of these in my life literally for fun riding locally and with my lady as pillion. Ive ridden large sports bikes for yrs and im all a bit done with the hassle and just need a warm days fun ride. Vespa is such an iconic design or what Mini is to cars Vespa is to bikes....controversial i know but im now 50 and who cares🤣. Thanks for the great video and cheers Andrew UK😊🌈

Hailing from the Northeast U.S. here, where most people (regrettably) regard two-wheelers as little more than weekend playthings. I, on the other hand, regard my GTS as serious transportation, commuting a few days a week between central New Jersey and New York City with relative ease…and, yes, that includes a good bit of highway action, cruising between 65-75mph on a regular basis. Totally worth it, especially at this, let's say, *interesting* moment in human history, when public transportation might not be ideal for people trying their best to keep their distance from one another. I've had my GTS for the better part of five years, and I'm as happy with it as the day I rode it off the dealer's lot. I'd say you made an excellent choice.

car license works for these? I'm in NY. they get up that fast with 23 hp?

RK rk no you need a motorcycle license in NY for anything over 150cc..The GTS is 300cc. I purchased 2020 Vespa 300 SuperTech and I needed M class to ride it.

Lovin’ my prima!!!!! The only thing I hate, and I mean truly despise is that pungent road/smoke smell after each ride. You always need to bring spare clothes in your trunk. Haha

Just subscriber sir... agree on the parking on BGC it happen to me twice... not so friendly on lower 400cc.. i felt descriminated... when i was in my 916cc super heavy.. all parkin doors open for the monster... my poor 125cc which i enjoy using in the city was always turn down... tsk tsk tsk

That may well be the new HPE frame, but the engine is the Quasar engine from the previous GTS model, not an HPE engine as you state at 1:10. Easily identified by the different belt cover on the engine side.

I noticed you were using an open face helmet without a visor. Do the cops here give you a hard time about this? I saw some videos advising that full on visors are required for riders here.

Wearing extremely hot full motorcycle gear is what makes it not fun, and the other option will leave you in the hospital requiring multiple surgeries and skin graphs. I would love to ride with a t-shirt no gloves, 😢
