Thanks for this update... good news. Wondering why they wouldn't have kept the original plan to run it to Montpelier so it could be easily connected to the new highway coming up from Sav. (Ferris to Mackfield) which would only be an additional 15-20 kms, this would drastically shorten the journey from MoBay to Sav.

It was always going to be a toll road. N.R.O.C.C. highways are toll roads. Videos from at least 2017 are available online.

The entire perimeter road project, witch includes thr Long Hill bypass will eventually become apart of highway 2000....that's y they will be tolled.
