Do this with a 3d American flag. Red stripes and blue star field raised, white stripes and stars sunken. Or do field and stripes all plane, with stars raised or sunken.

It’s cool, I like that both colors bonded together without mixing and ruining each other however I hate the epoxy on top. It ruins its concrete appearance… there’s got to be a better way, even the paint infused takes away its concrete appearance. I’d like to see actual pigments used as that’s for whatever reason what goes with concrete the most or keeps it looking as it should. Pls look into concrete pigments because the idea is fantastic, your execution using the foam cutouts is flawless… it all works really there’s just something about the paint and especially the epoxy that takes away from the finished product

That came out so cool looking. I have a question what does acrylic fortifier do for concrete using rapid set? I’m trying to make a candle jar I used it in a small mold but a larger mold it didn’t come out right and it sets up to quickly before I poor it. So I have to work fast. I need it more fluid.

I think the more complex 3d shape of this is making the epoxy coating make it look really plasticy, which I'm not a fan of. I think the simpler flatter shape of the previous one helped prevent it looking like that. I wonder how you might pop the colors without giving it that full on shiny plasticy look.

try surfacing it with Rapid Set waterproofing mortar. Michael has a cool video about it and I used it to waterproof some basement foundation repairs. Good Stuff

Should have realized that the grey concrete would dull the orange and went with paint that is several shades brighter. Honestly as it was pouring, it looked like diarrhea, good thing it did seem to brighten up a bit after it dried/cured. All in all it was a success though.
