I'll never understand why they did this. Even in Africa they did the same thing to tons of ivory. I get their point, but this was an incredibly idiotic thing to do. I think it desecrates the memory of elephants even more.

These people are committing a crime. Crushing works of art since they are executed in ivory is BEYOND STUPID. It will not help their cause. They do this out of vindictiveness.
