You don’t have to start in the formation that you’re going to use. You should play wingers in left and right cam in game and therefore start in a 4-5-1 formation and got to custom tactics and change the attacking tactic to 4-2-3-1 and press Y to swap players to where you want them to actually play and then when you go into a game all you need to do is go attacking

4231 custom tactics: -full backs on stay back while attacking -both cdms on cut passing lanes, stay back and cover center -central cam on stay forward, FREE ROAM, stay on edge of box for cross -left and right cams on balanced attack, FREE ROAM, and get into box for cross -central striker on stay central, get in behind and stay forward. I use 3 depth and pressure on heavy touch :) These tactics work so well for me so maybe give em a try if ya want

Use the 4-2-3-1 (2) Have the 2 CDMS on stay back while attacking and the wingers on drop back and get in behind and therefore you will be compact in the back and have men going forward This will help as you will have men forward and back when u need them Good luck with the rest of the series #Packetoutftw

I think that 4-2-2-2 would best suit your playing style + it's the only formation where you can create a viable hybrid of bundesliga/epl players that you currently have. You can have both Lewa and Vardy on the pitch, Havertz and Eriksen as well, the only weak link is Ndidi who is ok but not great (alternatively, you can try maddison, or even lallana who banged previously in the series). A good formation tactic would be to setup in a 4-1-2-1-2 wide and set your attacking tactics to change into a 3-5-2. Drop your cdm into the right cb position and put your fullbacks into the cdm positions. Make sure your wingers help defensively and that one of your strikers drops back and defends. Also make sure you have a lot of pace in the team as they will run a lot.

Anyone else notice how the new packs have Christmas lights towards the top of them? If they’re glowing brighter than usual it’s a board, you’ll have to determine from the 2 lights if it’s a walkout. Cheers, hope this helped.

Do custom tactics. So then go to offensive and switch formation to the 4-2-2-2 and have press after ball loss on defensive pressure. Then you should have two strikers and pace on the CAMs. Have good all round CDMs and pace on the wing and strikers
