I'm glad you enjoyed it. Something a little different since I happened to encounter 2 trains, one while I was parked right by it cell phone in hand sending a text. The music is KZbin music, so I should be free to use it.

My Dad; who was a photographer; loved to photograph train engines. There was a track; not far from their house; and he'd find out if there was something unusual coming his way and he'd go set up and take photos. He also had a substantial model railroad layout. Your video brings back good memories of my Dad and his hobbies.

I need to find a photograph of me at about 3 years old standing with my grandfather watching a train come into the Wellsboro Junction. He loved to go down there and watch the trains. My hometown had no trains, but the city hall was in the old train depot from back when the train did come through. And my grandfather made a model train layout of the railroad that once existed in his area.

Nice reference to Jawtooth. Not surprised that there aren’t any flashing red signals at rail crossings in ND.

Trains this size head both ways several times a day through my little town. I shudder to think of the number of trucks that would be on the road if it weren't for the train.

I’ve never been on train journeys in the US (if we don’t consider LA and NYC Metros as Trains).. I’ve only seen such trains on Road trips when tracks used to run parallel to highways for some distance. I used to be fascinated by how long the trains are in the US - Trains here in India are nowhere near yours when it comes to length. I remember watching another train video of yours a year or so ago and showed it to my family and they couldn’t believe their eyes (on how long a train could be) !

Mostly North Dakota can have long trains because it's so flat. In my corner of North Dakota, trains need the "pusher" at the end because of the Badlands. We're too rugged here. The "pushers" make a short run back and forth across my part of the state.
