@Scrappylocs7 жыл бұрын
Alfred X wash it like normal but under very hot water (the hottest you can stand( and add a bit of tea tree oil to the shampoo and then take a towel and squeeze the area out
@ReMpFreddie7 жыл бұрын
i think i got it out now i guess i just gotta keep my scalp moisturized
@Scrappylocs7 жыл бұрын
Alfred X yes sir very important. Try coconut oil and tea tree oil with castor oil and massage it on your scalp a day or two before your next wash, this is what I do and it helps a lot as I have a very dry scalp

Appreciate it

Good advice. If you go swimming in the pool, not only do you need to wash your hair. Regular shampoo will not get all the chlorine out, you have to go in with a good clarifying shampoo, and then, a moisturizing one, and then after, an oil, like jojoba. Hvn’t seen u for a while. Missed you.♥️

Couldn't watch the whole thing due to time constraints. Tea tree oil? Maybe incorporating that monthly or at some other interval?

Excellent! When you say dry your hair, are you recommending a blow dryer?
@Scrappylocs7 жыл бұрын
CherishMyDaughter only if you need it. I don't use one, just shake and towel for me, but if you're needing to go to bed or need your hair dry then by all means use one just don't burn your scalp!

Which Shea moisture shampoo do you use? I recently starting using the Jamaican Castor oil shampoo with pepppermint and apple cider vinegar!

what about dish soap or mouth wash that kills bacteria?

Question? Can your hair type be a factor because my hair type isn't really that thick and I have yet you run into this problem with my current set of locs and dreads in the past. I rarely use products and I feel like that's part of the reason why I don't have build up

Hey Scrappy how are you? Wanted to ask,how do I grow my hair fast? Any ingredients you may recommend?
@Scrappylocs7 жыл бұрын
Yona Matiya I'm doin good! Hmm I'm a fan of less is more, drink plenty of water and eat well and the hair will grow. I honestly don't think anything else will do much.

How Did u put the hot water and tree tea oil in your Hair? Did u mix the two? Did u soak? How long? Did u shampoo after? What exactly did u do?
@Scrappylocs7 жыл бұрын
Juliana Ramirez I made a soak and soaked that mixture for about 10 minutes, I then rinsed with hot water for about 5 and then did a regular wash. Hope that helps 😁👍🏾✌🏾

Hey what about scabs around your hairline and the sides of your hair
@Scrappylocs6 жыл бұрын
I get them too from eczema, use hydrocortisone cream and soak them in warm water to help them off of your hair

Do you know if dread rot kills hair follicles?
@lambchop86537 жыл бұрын
i have the second one. I used a acv rinse twice another time and its still not all the way out my head. Ive only had my locks for like 2 months nd the more i was the more they are loosening
@Scrappylocs7 жыл бұрын
LambChop Ahhh I would recommend gradually lengthening your wash routine and using hot water and tea tree oil to get rid of the buildup. The ACV rinse may actually compounding the problem rather than fixing it so maybe try just hot water and the tt oil and see if that helps
@ReMpFreddie7 жыл бұрын
i tried acv too and it didnt work

And will airdrying your locs give you dread rot ?

No so long as you make sure they get fully dry within about an hour

Nate Hendrix NO! Don't use anything on your hair that has petroleum in it, very bad for your hair and scalp
