I saw a comment the other day about how your videos give off a certain sense of nostalgia, especially though the music choice. Watching this vlog, and every one of these beautiful videos, I almost like what I feel when watching a studio ghibli movie - you make art out of the mundane, the everyday beautiful! Thanks for always reminding me to look out for the little things

Haha, the naming of the files XD I know how it feels. I do the same. And your day scedule reminds me of mine too. Like doing all those small (mostly creative) things on my own. No specific schedule, normally meeting no person I really know than those at university. Messy looking room even though it is not messy but just full of lovely stuff. Cooking is the highlight. Really relaxing abd rewarding. Watching your videos is like doing all those things together alone.

The book printing and binding was such a mood, i had similar frustrations last year in my graphics communications class 😖 glad you got it done though!! “You have to have courage” is so true, yet so tough sometimes. To be so aware of your own mistakes and flaws sometimes makes it so easy to be ashamed of your own work, and quick to agree with others criticisms. But the work is yours! There are many choices you’ve made, much effort and heart you’ve put in that you must have courage to stand by your art. I needed that reminder today. ❤️❤️❤️

I completely understand what you were saying about criticism... I wrote a poem a bit back and cut sentences in half in the poem to represent the narrator’s panicking mind and I was proud of it and other people liked it, only to have my writing club verbally rip it apart and have only one person understand what I was trying to say. Putting your work out there in the world is such a vulnerable thing to do, and whenever I show my art or writing to people, I feel like I am showing a bit of my heart. I think you understand this feeling💕

Annabelle, I felt urged to write something after watching this treasure. You are such an inspiration, in nearly every single way I can think of; your ideals and views, your lovely style of clothing, the way you do the quirkiest, cutest and kindest yet most simple, tiny things... Through the battles I've faced as of late you have been a great influence and support, just from you being your own lovely self. Also, the new fonts and animations for the videos are absolutely ADORABLE!!! Luv them💛 Thank you for being you, and for letting us tag along. Hugs from Sweden💛

just about printing the right # of pages: there always need to be a # of pages in the multiple of 4 (because you're turning one sheet into 4 pages). also, making a booklet on InDesign, you can export the file in the order to print, so you don't need to manually reorganize which sheet should print for the right order! it's called "saddle stitch" :) (love, poet & graphic designer hehe)

been watching you since 2017 when i was still at uni (i graduated already last october!) your vlogs and insights in life helped me in accepting myself for who i am. it made me think that life has so much to offer and i can become a better version of myself somehow or someday in the future. i want to thank you for that Annabelle! you have helped people like me, through your vlogs, get to know ourselves and you too. love you 💛

I am back to uni from the vacations and have three months left before I graduate. I should technically be cherishing my time back but I have no time to breathe with my midterms starting from tomorrow (there is one exam every day for the rest of next week and I am dreading it) and I have been missing home so so much. I really enjoy my time back at home more so during the Christmas vacation and things have been really hard in uni for me mentally. So, here I am, re-watching all your December vlogs because they make me feel so warm and cozy. Thank you for spending so much of your time making these precious vlogs and letting us into your life, I really really really appreciate it

About the McDonald's fries: one thing that really helped me when I was avoiding eating them was making my own fries at home. You get to add seasoning, make sure they're cooked exactly like you like them, and you can cook them in the oven so they're a little healthier. (I season mine with garlic powder, smoked paprika, and the Everything but the Bagel seasoning, and then make my own special sauce!!) Home cooked fries are SOOOO good, really simple, actually don't taste that bad re-heated (or you can reheat them in a skillet). Once you have your own fries a couple times, if you go back to McDonald's you realize their fries are kinda sad :/ That's my hack!!!
@ahnaliesemaria5 жыл бұрын
PS (for anyone interested) my special sauce is vegan mayo or sriracha mayo + a little teriyaki and a little soy. You can also add the same seasoning you put on the fries, if it doesn't stick to the fries well. It's a tangy sauce that compliments the sweetness in the smoked paprika!!!!! I am very proud of this lil recipe lol
