That is one of my favorite videos that you have ever done. So cool of your kids to come home and surprise you guys and I hope you really enjoy the holidays. This should really help people knowing that you could put a second rider on the back of the pan America. Your kids a star you better not let her start a KZbin channel.

Wow, what a great time. Gotta say, most people pick the Harley’s for their first ride on but those that ride again and try one of the adventure bikes, always say they liked it better. Exactly what Hannah said, they say it’s higher, smoother, the sitting position is more comfortable and their view over my helmet is better. I have taken my better half off on a few off road excursions, as a passenger, and she did have a good time. She’s a trooper but she did say she prefers asphalt. Lol Great video Colin! Merry Christmas to you and the family. 🤙🏼🎄

So awesome to have your daughter riding with you! I have to say I'm surprised that Hannah said the passenger pillion was comfortable! I wouldn't have that that a bike designed primarily for a solo rider would have any sort of comfort for 2-up. Hannah did a great review from a passenger perspective. I'm glad you have your family together for the holidays. Merry Christmas my friend!!

Another excellent video about your Pan!! I've been catching up on your videos because I'm getting close to pulling trigger on trading up my Streetglide to a Pan and this vid answered a question I haven't seen addressed elsewhere, passenger comfort on it!! Thank you and thank your daughters great input ! Honestly I wind up riding solo most the time anyways but occasional fortune favors me with a passenger lol!

I appreciate that. I ride solo most of the time too, but you could do 2-up on this.

I have not found a lot of youtube videos about the Pan America as a 2 up Motorcycle. Thank you for making the effort. At the same price as the Road King I will let my wife decide what she is more comfortable on. But that engine is the future of Harley so still holding out for the January HD announcements. Ride Safe.

Thanks Jefferson. Definitely agree with her deciding. My take is the touring models for long distances are prob better for the passenger.

I ride 2 up, my wife is about 120 lbs. We have rode on and off road on the PA. The only tough parts is steep down hill over rocks and deeply rutted roads from heavy rains. Fire roads are not a problem even ungroomed. On the street it's a monster even with full luggage and 2 up. The suspension is excellent.

Have you taken your wife on the Pan American yet? I'm considering consolidating my 2018 Ultra Classic and 2022 Sportster S into a single 2023 Pan American. Just not sure how the wife would like the small pad on the H-D tour pack for the Pan American. Any advice?
@Broncoride Жыл бұрын
My wife rode on it once. She said it was fine but sat a lot higher than the SGS. My daughter rode with me too. It’s not as comfortable as the SGS, but they both said it wasn’t bad. Hope that helps a little.
@WilliamJacksonComputing Жыл бұрын
@@Broncoride It did. I ended up getting a deal on a last in stock 2022 Pan American Special GI Enthusiast edition. Traded in the Sportster S and keep the Ultra Classic. Now have the best of both worlds. Looking forward to more of your content.

Very cool input from the pillion! All my kids haver four feet and fur, not going to ride with them (there was a guy I saw around Dupont Circle in DC who rode with his cat; "Cycle Cat" had a little piece of carpet on the tank he rode on, even had a mini helmet and a web site).

@@Broncorideone last question. I’m looking at getting my first bike ever and was thinking Pan America or Street Glide. Will be doing some 2 up riding.
@Broncoride2 жыл бұрын
That’s a tough question to answer. What I would do is have your passenger go on some demo rides with you. I’d ride several models. Many people like the Road Glide vs SG, but I’m just the opposite. The PA is an incredible bike and I’m loving it, but the touring models are pretty nice for the passenger. While my daughter was comfortable on the PA, my gut tells me that on long rides, the touring would be better. Everyone is different though.
