2 WAYS TO ADD MODS TO ATS: MODS 101 - WAREHOUSEGOBLIN

American Truck Simulator has become one of my favorite games of all time. I love the beauty the game offers and the sense of adventure out on the open road! The first thing wanted to do when I first atarted learning how to play I wanted to add mods to make the game even more realistic. Hope you enjoy this quick little vid on how to add mods. @@Camden23gt Yes. As soon as you hit subscribe it automatically loads to ATS. Then all you need to do when in the game is access the mod manager and add them one by one. Hopefully, this answers your question. If you need any more help please feel free to let me know

I really wish SCS would change that increase/decrease popularity thing, because it can be very confusing to new players that don't yet understand the game actually loads your mods from the BOTTOM up, so your priority stuff should always be at the bottom.

I agree totally! The good thing about ATS is there are constantly updating things. I am hoping this is something they address very soon for sure

We just downloaded the new version of American truck simulator I am having trouble downloading mods new on the new updated version can you explain that in detail to me how to do that on the new version

Yup…with the 1.50 version many of the mods are still being updated. When you go to use one be sure to read down through the subscription and see if it says it will work with the 1.50 version. Some of the mods won’t be updated cause it depends on the creator of whether it is updated or not. Which really sucks and there isn’t any way around unless you find a similar mod. I had to change several mods because of that very reason

I added a John Deere mod to the game and it downloaded it. So where will i find it in the game?

@@MelissaPeck-in9tq What type of mod is the John Deere mod? Is it a type of paint job or is it for hauling actual John Deere tractors or something else?

@@warehousegoblinLPG Never mind i think figured it out. I found the paintjobs in the upgrading workshop when i went to upgrade my truck. And i think i downloaded a hauling mod to but it's probably still downloading. Anyways thanks for the video.

@@warehousegoblinLPG I accidentally probably added the paintjobs of the Trucks on to the game. Like i added a Peterbilt 379 to the game and i thought it was the Truck and not the paintjob.
