Your porch is beautiful! I love a big front porch. We had A large covered porch back in TN. During spring & summer i kept tons of planters full of flowers, several shelf units & lots more hanging! It was my on little jungle😄 I had quite a few chairs, but my swing was my favorite place to sit! The porch was deep enough that it hung with the back to the house & it faced out. Honestly Fall was amazing sitting the on the cool mornings with coffee looking across the mountains at all those gorgeous colors..Gods masterpiece! But the yard already lots of established flowers earth we moved there. Daffodils & tulips, then the daisies & soooo many iris', then the different types of lilies and of course huge rose bushes. It was A very large log house up on a hill. That's where we had out men's recovery home. One end was an attached apt., that's where we lived. But the porch went completely across the front! Uhhh..i truly love TN with all my heart & I'll miss it terribly🥹 But when God calls you into a new season, you answer that call. So here we are in FL.. and i now need to learn about tropical flowers & plants, what grows best in this heat. I know my all time fav flower, the hibiscus, grows wild!! So does the Bougainvillea, and the monstera, of course any cactus lol😄 Next year i hope to have my pretty flowers again, maybe not my begonias & coleus's that i love so much, but I'll learn to love different things😊 All your zennias are very beautiful! I love lanterns & bird cages on the porch, i also have lots of bird houses, chimes and old vintage & antique railroad lanterns, some pretty smaller cement statues and a few other decor pieces. I like to decorate outside too!😉 The curtains are very pretty, love the panels with them! I think i like them better than the white ones even! Very cozy! I also like the way you did the little plate on the mirror! I love coming up with different ideas & was to decorate outside the box, thing that are not expected. I use basically lamps for lighting, except the kitchen & bathrooms, its just so cozy! Then when you add candles & the fireplace.. its beautiful❤ I keep lamps in the hallways too! I do like having a small one in the kitchen & bath just for a little glow when not using the rooms. And of course its all thrifted! There's so much you can do in A home with thrifted or secondhand decor & make it beautiful! And the old ornate, detailed pieces are to die for😊 And when the hubby agrees.. then its a win win done deal😊 I have a little brass lamp similar, the base is shorter & the glass globe is longer or taller. It was very pretty lit up at the end of my hall. I loved the video!! I always love seeing your beautiful home & what you've done to make it even more beautiful! Thanks for the curtain hanging tips!
