I often record our band's 3-hour rehearsal and I just hit record before we start and "stop" when we are done. That leaves me with a single song page with 40+ songs on it. I use the Marker track to label each song on the page with the song's name. It makes it so much easier to copy each song onto its own song page. So there's a third way to use markers.

I wished there would be an option to create multiple Marker Tracks so that I could use the first one for obvious things like Chorus, Verse... And another one below for more detailed information on what the part is about. Would be useful for larger projects, too.

I think a very important function could be to have a detached window dedicated to markers, like the one that of pro tools. Studio one is now my main daw but I really suffer a lot from this lack when mixing or mastering

I also use markers when I have multiple songs recorded in one song file. Use the export mix down between markers option.

Hi Joe. A big one for markers is if you have a full sized Qwerty keyboard the number pad to the right allows you to jump from markers 1-9 simply by pressing 1 to go to marker 1 pressing 8 to go to marker 8 etc.. if you use the function key with the number pads u can remove the desired marker number. I use a controller for that now so correct me if this is incorrect.

When I have these markers and want to export to file It will list the start then these markers vs start end #6 etc

How can I change the resolution, in studio one ? I cant see the scratch pad without changing my system preferences from 200 ( recommended ) to 175 ? If I changed it to 175 the scratch pad was shown. I don’t need the show and song button in the main view, please give me a solution for this problem to change the resolution inside Studio one without changing my system preferences on my 16 ˋˋ Laptop

Joe is there any way I can link plugin parameters? I am creating a vocal recording template and would like Autotune on all tracks. I would like to control parameters on one plugin and affect others to be the same. I'm making a switch from protools and they have this feature. Not sure if Studio one has it. Thank you!

I wish we could color the markers. Like, why not? How hard could that be? Also, another way to use markers could be to put lyrics at each marker throughout the song.

Click the marker track and open the inspector. All the markers will be listed.

IF I happen to start a song at say, 6, and then want to move the whole song to 2, and can select all tracks and move them all at once, do the Markers also move too, OR do I have to go through the laborious task of moving them one by one? As you've also taught before, there's another way to add Notes, down at the bottom of the console for tracks.

For the markers to move you have to add or delete "time" (I think is the term) in Studio One.

When I open the markers it pre determines where to set them and I can't seem to move them to the places I want them. This program is so frustrating and there's no help I can get for it. I don't suggest anyone get studio one

Really?! You all continuing to post any and everything except a video introducing Studio One 6 is coming off as lame. Ever since Fender purchased Presonus, they've been giving off Gibson/Cakewalk vibes.

Since fender bought presonus everything is changed, the interaction with users in the comments as well: compare the answers for questions from the old videos and now, there's kind coldness now. if they don't say something about update untill October, I'll definitely change DAW 100%
