I would upgrade it for maybe 80$ but 140 is too expensive. I have already the 6 professional version for 300€…..

Still not worth it if it cannot do simple tasks properly like rendering mono audio. It's a waste of money until they squash the bugs and actually make it release-ready. It still is not ready.

Great video - quite rare to have a comparison between the wrong and right approach, this is a good way to learn by example.

Just trying to figure out how to remove a fade curve added in 4.6.2, using menu Audio / Fade In to Cursor. No combination of mouse button or control / command seems to allow for simple removal of the curve. Dragging: no joy. Delete: deletes whole audio part. Also, I never selected 'fade out' but somehow studio one put a fade out on my audio event, too.

Is there a way to convert a part to a pattern WITHOUT quantizing it? I have quantize off but it seems like when you do this it automatically corrects/quantizes the MIDI which I don't want...is this possible?

Perhaps you can use 1 drum kit for blues, reggae, rock , metal, jazz and latin by changing the key.

The business model has been changed - it is no longer possible to buy Studio one, you now have to rent it on a monthly basis and pay for it over and over again. I no longer buy this product, but use my old torrent client - if the company doesn't want our money, then it won't get it. Customers, stick together!

the 'please do not follow' option didn't work for me on studio one 7, I have to right click on every track and edit 'file tempo' value to '0' to disable timestretch.

In midi editor, when you select all notes by pressing ctrl and clicking on piano key, Up and down keyboard arrow doesnt move notes, instead shifts onto anoter track. In SO6 it worked

Apparently this doesn't work on all 3rd party plugins. Trying to get an automation lane for Vocal Doubler by Izotope, and no matter where I right click, or attempt Alt A, nothing happens. Works fine on the Presonus Pro EQ, so I know it does work, but spent quite a bit of time trying to get it to work on Vocal Doubler without success. Bummer...

I didn't realize how much I needed a productivity tool until I tried Astirna New Tab. It complements my Studio One sessions nicely.
