2 weeks in Northern India with Intrepid’s Women’s Expedition

I’ve been looking into Intrepid’s trips for a while, and when I saw the India Women’s Expedition come up, I thought it would be a great way to see a new country (and get way out of my comfort zone)!

This is a beautiful video. What were the accommodations like? I am considering this trip but information on the Intrepid website about the accommodations is vague, which is a little concerning. I am not seeking 5 star hotels but I would like a realistic sense of where we’ll be staying.

Thank you! The accomodation was better than I'd anticipated (honestly my expectations were quite low). Think basic 3 star accomodation but clean and comfortable. I would make sure you mentally prepare for the overnight train though, because that was definitely an experience!

Please visit once South Indian Cities like Bengalore and Hyderabad but must visit Specially ancient cities like Tanjor, Mysore, Hampi , Nellore and kanchipuram. Also visit Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Island . Must visit Darjeeling hill station, Gangtok, Guwahati and Cherapunji in North East India. Don't forget to visit Pune, Ahmedabad, Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) . And even Sardar sarovar Dam which has world's Tallest statue in Gujarat (Must visit). India is very diverse and apart from Taj Mahal there are too many UNESCO World Heritage sites present in India. We will wait to see your visits on those places.

Uhhh do you know Indian geography. MP, chattisgarh and jharkhand are central Indian states. UP and Delhi happen to be in North India and Rajasthan happens to be in the north-western region of India
