Whoever establishes a good Sunnah in Islam he will have a reward for it and the equivalent of the rewards of those who act upon it after him, without their reward being diminished in any respect. And whoever establishes a bad Sunnah in Islam will bear the sin of it and the sin of those who act upon it after him, without their sin being diminished in any respect’. (Muslim, 1017 - 69). Shafi heard what we all heard about the hadith about innovation he also mentioned that there is a good bidah and and bad bidah. The mawlid is the commemoration of the best creation and it is usually in groups to gather as many people to hear about the sirah of mohammed mahy allah raise his rank and send peace upon him.

Salafi arrogance subhan Allah. Your movement only started about 100 years ago and you think the ummah was wrong before that. Bring something good to the table other than hate. There's so much hate within the ummah because of this. Don't think just because you have a podcast and say bidah this and bidah that, that somehow you are reviving the ummah. Fix yourself first before trying to fix the ummah.
