🥹 love watching people discover and being blown away by yonghoon’s vocal range ❤️

On top of being a technically fantastic vocalist, Yonghoon excels in his emotional connection and delivery. It’s my favorite quality about his singing. I’ll try to join in the ranking for now! I might have to give up when it gets too challenging for me. RAA is a very dear song to me but I really love the sound of ROME and I listen to it more so it wins out for me. 1. Ring On My Ears 2. Reminisce About All

This song remains one of my favourites of them. Just as you I love the fact that it starts with only the piano and a voice and how gradually they ad a layer into the song by adding a instrument. 1. Reminisce about All 2. Ring on my ear

RBW is one of, if not the only agency that has its own orchestra and almost always uses real strings rather than samples. You can see some of them playing behind Hwasa in her cover of Walk On By she released on her birthday. I found it interesting that it was RB-INJ even though it is a P-Nation production. When they play it live and for the remix they did in 2022 for their third anniversary, Kanghyun strokes the electric guitar strings to simulate the sound of the cello. I'm very happy they have both songs in their discography and they are so different so it's hard to rank them. I guess that if I was forced to choose a song I could never listen to again, it would be ROME. That makes Reminisce number one. You were calling them Emotional Rock before...

This is one of my favorite songs by them actually, it is so emotional. The final chorus with Yonghoon going crazy is what solidified him as my favorite voice in Kpop. I literally feel like Iwas floating while listening to that. 1. Reminisce About All 2. Ring On My Ears

Yes, all their songs are very beautiful. Very well made, neat composition, and has a satisfying climax. Also their song lyrics are poetic but also abstract. So we can interpret the song according to what we feel. I don't know the words to express their song. I just fell in love with their music. ❤️💯

I still think this is their best song. They did an online concert during covid where Yonghoon choked up singing it.

For "Ring on my Ears (Remix)", it is quite different instrumentally. However, bear in mind that it's not actually a remix of the song you heard, Giuk has said it is actually the original demo version. So "Ring on my Ears (Remix)" is basically the draft and "Ring on my Ears" is the final ONEWE version. People going in expecting the other way around often say they expected different from the "remix", but I think it's easier to fully appreciate both versions if you know which came first (like some people might wonder why they changed a certain part they already liked for the remix when in fact they added it to the "remix"/demo to get the final version). Also just FYI, in their discography "Kousikondou" is the name for the 0&4 Japanese ver. and "Piasugabokuwobutuyouni" is the name for the Ring on my Ears Japanese ver. They don't have any original Japanese songs that you would need to include. They do have one original English song Gravity (it does have a Korean version since they wrote it in Korean, with the intent to translate it to English with help, but the Korean version isn't released yet). The one other official ONEWE song they have (excluding OSTs) that's not listed in the Kprofiles discography is "Hippie (Freedom from MM)", as they produced this for a band survival last year so Mnet released it on the _Great Seoul Invasion Section 1_ EP (August, 2022) rather than it being released by their own company in a ONEWE album (maybe one day it will be). It is in the 'This is ONEWE' playlist though. They also have their M.A.S 0094 discography (the 2 EPs they released before they got signed by an agency, changed their name from M.A.S 0094 to ONEWE and re-debuted with Reminisce About All), but given that you've already started at their ONEWE debut album I'd say perhaps just leave those to explore after the ranking if you want (you'll get "Feeling Good 2019 ver." and "Starlight 2022 ver." in their ONEWE discography anyway).

I can't actually properly rank ONEWE's discography myself, there's just too many amazing songs I can't choose between and my preference changes based on my mood, but at least for these two I would agree. Reminisce About All has always held a very special place for me, both this original studio ver. and the newer arrangements they've done (they rearrange and extend a lot of their songs for concerts). While I really enjoy Ring on my Ears, the studio version isn't my favourite of theirs BUT the extended concert version makes my ranking much harder (I'd feel guilty ranking it low when that version exists). Also I was specifically obsessed with the Japanese ver. of Ring on my Ears for some reason when I first discovered ONEWE lol. Ring on my Ears is a song they've mentioned they would want to remaster if they had the opportunity; they already made small changes where they could in the vocal re-recording for the English version to make it a bit more like the concert version.

For those you don’t know they originally debuted as #MAS0094 in 2015 but from what I remember the agency Modern Music went bankrupt and/or the band were having issues with not getting enough promotions or whatever, so they moved and signed under RBW Inc which is the same agency ONEWE #DongMyeong fraternal twin brother XION is part of #ONEUS that debuted in Jan 2019. When ONEWE took up the new agency they were known as just MAS in 2017 for awhile playing as backup band for senior artists under that agency and then re-debuted as ONEWE May 2019.

Reminisce came out first and Ring came out not long after.. Reminisce clearly focused on Hoons absolutely stunning vocals, where Ring focuses more on instruments, and rapping… honestly a perfect way to showcase all the members skills 🥰🥰 Ranking these guys is hard for me, but I’d say Reminisce is ranked over Ring for me ❤️

Thank you so much for this reaction! I really enjoy seeing you get to appreciate more of ONEWE's music, so I'm having so much fun with this series! Yonghoon (lead vocalist) has a gorgeous range and a voice that lends itself to tugging at heartstrings, aspects which Reminisce About All showcases beautifully. Regarding the Ring On My Ears (Remix), it is notably different from the original, but I personally don't have much attachment to it. Others might feel differently, though! I can't join in the ranking; I may try once you're halfway through, but I need to wait a while because I simply cannot rank ONEWE songs, the closest to ranking I can do is "tiers" (because in so many cases, I like the songs equally and it just depends on what sort of a mood I'm in). I will say that I am excited to see your reaction to 0&4, though!

ty for reacting! omg it's gonna be so hard but ig I'm gonna try to do my own ranking with u RAA is an incredible song, it's stunning, it's one of those onewe songs that make me cry sometimes yonghoon (main vocalist, main creator of RAA) is so good at making us feel that we've been through multiple divorces, not only with his god tier voice, but also with his heartbreaking ballads so my list: 1 RAA 2 ROME (tho if it was live concert version ROME, RAA could have some problems, idk if I would be able to rank then) ROME remix is really different instrumental wise, giuk is the main creator of this song, so this version is one of the many versions made by him prior to the end product, it kinda allows us to watch the creation progress, which is so interesting but i dont have a lot of attachment to this one, i still listen to it amd dont skip, but if i was to choose I'd choose the one with real instruments

I'll throw my hat in the ring for funsies lmao 1. ROME 2. RAA I actually usually can't even sit through slower/softer songs so it's a miracle that ONEWE became my favorite artists so early on lol (or ever, tbh). I tend to be more drawn towards ateez and stray kids type stuff (FTISLAND type of sound for bands), yet it was with the release of Regulus that they became my favorite. I've grown an appreciation for RAA and sometimes even go out of my way to listen to it, but it was only after holding a major soft spot for ONEWE for a while

Just wanted to add the updated version of Reminisce About All and I love this version too, the other instruments play a bigger part sooner, it is the 3rd Anniversary update (on the official channel). kzbin.info/www/bejne/npnaoqCjp5Kghck Reminisce About All hold a special place so it is the top spot Ring On My Ears comes second, but I love how they showed such different sides to themselves right away (wish I was a fan when they were MAS 0094)

The most important things about this song have already been mentioned by other commenters, so I'll just start my ranking here: 1. RAA 2. ROME
