Love the video! I have braces too and I’m supposed to be getting them off soon too (January) so I’m VERY excited! Honestly I totally agree it’s so awkward eating with them 😭 so I’ll be glad when that doesn’t happen anymore 😂 I hope the rest of your braces journey goes well!! 🫶

I got my braces on a year or so ago, and Ive broken almost every rule of what not to do. (I do not recommend doing this) I eat popcorn on a regular basis, I've eaten a some carmel not the really sticky kind but I still eat some once in a while, I've eaten chips, I've chewed gum (Not: it was like 2 years old gum), and I've only broken off 2 brackets, but they weren't using them and they never did so it didn't really matter, and they weren't glued in very well.

I had braces and the most annoying part to me was the diet. No crunchy, chewy things or popcorn! I had them for 2 years also. I got them off last May. I only ate a bunch of gummy’s one time. That’s the only time I cheated and one bracket moved a little. So I literally had nothing like chips, popcorn, gummy’s, jello, carrots or dry granola for 2 years! I don’t think anyone could do as well as I did with the diet! Not having any of those things for 2 years!!

I have my braces very late in my life. I'm already 41 years old. And yes I need it because I have few teeth that are extracted and i have gaps it affects the quality of my life.
