Why not retwist fewer time a year?. I have had locks for a little over 15 year. I only get my hair retwisted around 5 time a year. And they are super healthy and neat.

I had my locs for five years and I had to take them out. I interlocked them for three and palm rolled for the last two. My hair texture TOTALLY changed! I used to have very thick, coarse hair and now I have straight, loose curls, and very curly hair! I've started to loc again but this new texture is killing me because it's just not thick. Is it normal to have a totally different texture? Will it thicken as they grow. Thanks in advance.
