Anna just regarding your insta story about Andrea... don’t panic it’s completely normal! (I have a degree in early childhood) it’s all apart of the attachment process and has nothing to do with him hating you! Often this part of the attachment process occurs because a child has such a deep connection with their parent that they fully believe that no matter where they are or how far from you they are, they know that you will always be there for him! He’s exploring his independence from you by “favouring” Jonathan. When he is alone with you he isn’t crying, or screaming or kicking you away which shows your bond! He is comfortable in your presence but because he is so young it seems like he is rejecting you by wanting Jonathan as soon as he see or hears him! He’s simply exploring his own choice and he’s beginning to develop his own independence. He’s exploring how to have thag relationship with Jonathan because he lived inside you and was fed by you and now he gets to explore how to build that relationship with Jonathan! His “obsession” with Jonathan is actually a compliment to you and the bond you have with him. He’s so sure of your love and attention that he never feels like he has to seek it or beg for it, so because he has that security of you he is able to explore his relationship with his dad!!
