Totally agree. This so cheered me up. I also thought what a fab mum as well, in this day and age where everyone is so focused on academic learning even for little ones, it is so easy to forget how much they learn from imagination playing and also cooking. It took me back some years with my own two.I miss those times. They were fun. To all parents, I say embrace it, because they grow up way too quickly. Those times together are what they remember, not how much you spend on them.

That little nose crinkle was adorable as she said yucky. My nephew loved playing restaurant. We made menus for each of his many restaurants. My brother had them lamented. And all the restaurants had his name in the title except for the Krusty Crab. My brother was the cook and Connor was the maître d’ and the waiter. And when he played restaurant outside he used mud and sticks and gravel. He was such a cute little boy too.
