It’s so crazy how much your hair has grown in only 2 years, I really need to cut down manipulating my hair as I’m 4 years post big chop and I’ve had so many set backs 😭 starting to give up on my hair!
@knatural77544 жыл бұрын
My hair fell out in 2010 due to relaxer damage it was above my ears . I had alepecia at the crown so it took me 4yrs to grow it to neck length and 6yrs to get it pass my chest .

I love the kinky curly leave in. It really helps me get all the knots out my hair so I dont have to rip my hair out combing through it.

Hair is flourishing 😉 I didn’t know that letting your hair shrink up causes breakage. I do generally tend to smush my hair and never wear it stretched. That may be my issues and why I’ve been seeing a halt in growth.

My one year post big chop anniversary is March 31 2020. I will be doing my first trim on this date on curly/coily hair so this video is timed perfectly. Your hair is simply gorgeous: thick, lush and long for 2 years. My whole head is one of your sections.

Yaasss! Go trimmed ends! WORK! I did plait outs for a few months to keep my hair at a stretched state. I was able to put it on 4 plaits at night (without combing) and tie a satin scarf on it. This helped maintain the definition,less tangles, and kept good stretch. I now wear wash and gos since I have my length back (mid back when streched) and I'm 3 years post big chop. Keep it up girl! Btw I think you're right about the smushed hair theory!

Hey love! just wanted to suggest, try to never cut past the second knuckle you'll almost always cut yourself. I know it's so tempting lol. Even working in salons we still cut up our fingers sometimes, but just wanted to give that helpful tip!

Whoa that Is a long time between trims but at least you took care of it. I am so scared to trim my own hair so I admire you. Excited to see how the Kinky Curly works. Your hair really has grown sooooo much
@shereeseblackman78714 жыл бұрын
So before you do the kinky curly wash and go, don't go crazy with the shampoo. It is a really good clarifying shampoo so you don't need much, also the leave-in works best when you are in the shower.. soaking wet hair. That stuff is very moisturizing, absolutely ahhhhmaazing!!! The gel is very defining so you should do a little tester on a few strands and let it dry to see how much you need to use. :)

Yeah I band my hair at night with satin scrunchies, to avoid tangles. I don't do wash n go's either because of shrinkage. I rather just stretch it at night lol

FYI: the kinky kurly shampoo is very stripping. I would say clarifying, so be prepared with your best deep conditioner. It’s a great reset if you need everything removed from your hair and scalp. 1 bottle lasted me 3 years. I put a pointed nozzle on it so I could concentrate it on my scalp.
