@@Marc180sx I have recently ran across the Yokohama Geolandar G017 XD AT and it's made in 35x12.50r17 size, seems like the best general use tyre; light, 3PMSF, moderately aggressive tread block design, and a reasonable tread life longitivity from the commercial grade rubber compound. Also would be mint if you could get some 37's the required engineering as you already have the 4 inch lift 😉🤔👍✍👏

It's good to see the big girl out again . I've got the ls1 gu same kit as yours . I've pretty much had all the same problems as you I've watched the whole series to conquer my problems haha even had the same cracked adapter plate problem took it to a local welder showed them how you got yours fixed and he done the same 🤙 . I was having the same trouble with my rear main , went to supercheap and got a bottle of rear main stop leak and its fixed it . Am not keen to pull the motor again !

Hey mate cheers for that! I’m so happy that any of this helped you haha we have the same setup! Glad you got your plate and all that sorted, I tried the stop leak but didn’t fix it :( hopefully this is the last time the box comes out fingers crossed 🤞

I’ve owned heaps of Patrols GQ’s SWB and LWB’s, GU… I’d go a TB48 if I brought another one factory powered Patrol plenty of power and smooth and cheap to fix. TB45 is just so under powered once you go over 33” tyres in a GU. Keep up the great work Marc and give us more 4wd videos! My sons into drifting big time we’ve seen you at Calder a few times. Great work, their Marc. I am still doing some videos on my KZbin channel and still learning to whether they're any good quality or not, so I have to gradually get better and better only as I go along. There are a couple of bad ones that I am thinking of getting rid of and redoing those. I have got spares. I have compressed those videos 10%, which is probably far too low. It is extremely upsetting for me as I do not wish to disappoint my customers. I do have a video of me camping in my campervan last in 2021 - up at Willulooka - later, on some point, I hope to upload that onto my channel. Please do look after yourself and catch up with you again soon. From William. Mount Gambier, South Australia.

Have owned my tuned crd gu with fair few mods for 6.5 years now and it's at 290k been pretty reliable and a great car overall, would love to ls or barra swap it eventually but if it ain't broke don't fix it!!!

Opening the fuel instead of the bonnet, 😂 I do it almost every time. Mine is a 97 series 1 Gu tb45 with about 550 tho ks has been on club reg for almost a year now. The old GUrl has done her dues. Currently getting it ready for a 3 week Simpson crossing mid year. Would love to do a ls or even a turbo as it's down on power..

Ahahaha it’s bloody hilarious I do it all the fkn time 🤣 Yeah the 45 has treated you very well! I reckon a turbo to wake it up depending how tired it is and if it’s too far gone definitely look into the LS route!

4x4 is not about spinning tyres .A diesel 4.2 will just walk over obstacles.The tyres show your driving skill.
@Marc180sx9 ай бұрын
It’s not about spinning tyres no, some people like horsepower and some like crawling. I prefer the v8 over the diesel as I had bad experiences with my 2.8, if I was to go diesel I would go 4.2 for sure. What do you mean tyres show my driving skill?
@PaddyBoy6449 ай бұрын
Biggest problem is the price of diesel motors and parts, they cost a fortune to build right and repair.
